Guillermo Huerta

Dr Huerta is an amazing, kind hearted, efficient, and personable doctor. This doctor LISTENS and is very thorough so you aren’t left wondering what else could be done. Very thankful to have found him. I have been through many different doctors to figure out/sort out/rule out all these symptoms i am having. Just about every single doctor i have seen has doubted my symptoms or refused testing(or lazy testing), and disregarded my feelings as a patient in need. I had honestly lost all motivation to continue but i had my appt already set with Dr Huerta. Without any briefing from me, he immediately asked thorough questions, viewed any previous tests he could from accessible drs notes (not much to go off of but he tried), and listened to my own opinions. The appt was so comforting, i couldn’t believe how elated i was leaving a doctors office and not be let down. He set up many necessary tests, and then he made calls for other things he could do to help and even called me at home to talk more with me. I am young(ish) and I’m not in the worst health compared to many, but he took my concerns and validated them and offered me so much more help than i had received from other specialists, including neuro, endo, ENT, etc. This was incredibly relieving and so many people don’t find enough help until their symptoms are too far to completely heal or too exhausted to care anymore etc.o Though i thankfully didn’t have any non-normal tests through him, it ruled out so many possibilities and it gave me the courage to call back my other dr and request to be re-tested- which did find some answers actually, so now I’m stuck with the other drs who originally doubted me but thats a while other story. But my point of explaining this much is that, Dr Huerta at the very least is one of those rare, extremely reliable, caring and helpful where he can be. Long wait but that because he spends quality time with his patients and he actually cares about them and always walks them out to the waiting room. Explains everything in detail. A very good doctor I would recommend him to anyone!
