I had an appointment (booked months in advance) and received a phone call an hour and a half before my scheduled appointment that the doctor has a "meeting" and needed to cancel my appointment. I went today for my RESCHEDULED appointment (the first aptmt of the day so that this issue would not happen again). After being the only one sitting in the waiting room for 30 minutes past my appointment time, I was told that the doctor still wasn't there. I left, because clearly the doctor does not care about my time. I then received a phone call asking if I wanted to come back 2.5 hours past my initially scheduled time and I would be seen "right away". I made the first appointment of the day so that I would be seen "right away", yet obviously my appointment was unimportant. As a working professional, when I make an appointment, I'm expected to honor that appointment. I expect my time to be valued just the same as I value my client's but obviously that does not happen here.
