Gregory Peter Swanson

We first met Dr. Swanson when my husband was an inpatient at Baylor Scott & White. Recently diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Swanson stood out among the room full of people. He commands respect and attention. He strikes me as having a military background, but I"m not sure. All I know is that on a day when we were overwhelmed with information and process, Dr. Swanson swooped in like Batman and literally picked us up and set us straight. When you are done talking to him, you know exactly what you have, what needs to be done, how long it should take, how you will feel and his role in the whole thing. Clarity is what you get! When we needed to hear plain English (and not medical jargon), he gave us just that. My husband had an issue with the discomfort of the metal table on which he would lay during a procedure. Dr. Swanson had that issue resolved before the next treatment! He is a man of his word. A man of integrity. And we will forever appreciate him!
