I had right hip replacement, and no follow-up with prior surgeon, due to lack of knowledge on my part. Was introduced to Dr Stanley when my husband had a procedure. Afterward I talked to Dr. Stanley about my situation and he got my surgical records to review. When I next saw him, he explained the situation and why I didn't get the relief that I expected. My left is starting to deteriorate and he is very pro-active about monitoring and testing . He answers all my questions in a fashion that I actually understand. Have been going to Dr. Stanley for about 10 yrs.,and would go no where else.

I had a severe case of carpal tunnel in both hands requiring surgery. Dr. Stanley was highly recommended to me by friends and family. Dr. Stanley is extremely compassionate, personable, knowledgable, and caring. He gives all the time needed to explain everything both before and after surgery. Everyone on his team are amazing as well! Both my surgeries are 100% successful. I recommend Dr. Stanly wholeheartedly.

Excellent physician and surgeon. I have been a patient was 6 years. I underwent right knee replacement in 2020 with a 100% positive result. I now play pickleball 3-4 times per week, golf several times a week, kayak and the best part is I learned to the joy of bike riding once again. I bike anywhere between 5-30 miles a day, weather dependent.

Upon arriving at this facility, when it was my turn to check in, the lady that greeted me asked some Covid Questions. Then my name. She says she doesn't have an appointment for me. So I show her the text I got for the appointment. She rudely tells me, "We don't deal with Cascade. Go over there and read the sign and call them." I try to find a sign but it is about 30 feet away and kind of hidden from my direction. I ask again where is the sign? She say keep walking. Her tone is unapologetically rude. So I find the sign and call Cascade to check in. When it's time for my appointment, and I see the Cascade people coming out. The other rude lady stops them and says something to them. I did not know at the time but she is telling these folks I said the F word to her. So they skip me. When they (Cascade Ortho people) do come to check me in, they also rude. This is based on the information that the other lady gave them. They argue on whether I has washed my hands. So I have to rewash my hands. I am mad now from the treatment I have been given since I arrived. I am being rude back now. Challenging the misguided authority the nurse/CNA is directing at me. I continue to get rude behavior during the check in process. Then the doc rolls in. This guy is already set to give me an attitude. Again based on the previous interactions. He tells me, "I need to play ball if I want get anything done in his clinic." Then he informs me that I dropped an F bomb to the rude lady from the other clinic. I inform him that he was already walking into the room with a predispositioned attitude based on what his nurse told him. He walks out. So I call the doc he's a moron and then tell everyone to F off. If you are gonna accuse me of something, I might as well do it then. So F you to everyone in that whole building. I wasn't going to let your backwoods clinic do my surgery anyway. Friendly, educated and professional. An outstanding surgical experience. I’m pain free and can’t thank Dr. Stanley enough.

Dr Stanley is not only a great orthopedic surgeon but he is also a caring and compassionate doctor. He always took the time to explain in detail the process and answer all the questions that I had. I felt like he was with me every step of the way.

Dr Stanley did an excellent job caring for my son with a complex forearmfracture. I am an MD, and as a colleague, I already trusted him immensely. Having first hand experience of the care he provides only further reinforced my confidence in him as a doctor.

Dr. Stanley replaced my left hip and all went as well as possible. Each visit to his office has gone without a hitch. He is a very personable guy with a very good bedside manner. I could not recommend him higher. He has explained each question I have had and reasons for each. He will be doing my other hip when that time comes.

Dr. G. Stanley performed major rotator cuff repairs on my right shoulder. Short response; I will return to him for any other orthopedic work required. I wish he had performed my knee replacement! He provided: Careful and accurate damage evaluation, provided options for resolution, performed more repairs than expected once inside the joint (in a surprisingly short time in surgery), provided accurate recovery prognosis, and careful instructions about my responsibilities for recovery. Eight months after surgery my recovery is on the predicted track. Thank you, Dr. Stanley.

Dr Stanley is everything I could hope for, treating my shoulder. After years of restricted movement and pain, the Copeland ( partial replacement) procedure he did has been successful way beyond expectations. Through all, he has been very professional and supportive. He always told me exactly what to expect. I will go out of my way to recommend him to anyone with joint replacement needs.

Dr. Stanley is the nicest, most professional, caring doctor I have been to. I have had 3 surgeries & all have been very successful. He explains everything in detail & makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend him to family members & friends. He has a wonderful staff that is very pleasant & helpful. Dr. Stanley was always courteous, professional and knowledgeable whenever I had an appointment. My surgeries were successful and throughout the entire process I felt very confident that I was receiving the best of care.

My husband just had surgery with Dr Stanley at the Columbia Gorge Surgery Center. We were very impressed with the facility and staff. Dr Stanley was patient and answered all of our questions, both pre op and post op He has a gracious bedside manner and made sure we were both happy with the experience before we left the facility. We would highly recommend Dr Stanley and the CG Surgery Center to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Stanley and his staff. He explains very clearly what he is going to do and what to expect after the surgery. Emphasizes the need to do all the PT if there is to be a good result from the surgery. He is easy to talk to and answers all questions. I just has a Knee replacement which is the 4th surgery Dr. Stanley has performed. Very good results on all of them.

If you want a Dr. that will listen and work with you, he is amazing. Compassionate, answers all your questions. Will be there, in your corner from that first meeting to the last follow up meeting. Our family had a hip replacement and knee surgery. Both successful. He recommends an ice machine following surgery. That really helped with the pain and healing process. Couldn't have been happier with Dr. Greg Stanley and the surgery he performed. Top notch in all categories. Good communicator, honest assessments, an efficient and organized "team" at his surgery center in the Dalles. I was in a hospital about 2 months before so I had a very clear vision to compare. His team knew exactly what they were doing, where they were going, what needed to happen. No bickering among people. Very efficient and friendly service.

Dr. Stanley, upon giving his diagnosis and "treatment" plan-absent of any physical examination-then refused to engage in any discussion after I asked what I was supposed to do regarding my shoulder pain and accompanying nerve problems. He did, however, go on to talk about "our friend Obama" and the legislation he passed before leaving office. He told me that if I was going to argue with him, we were done when I again asked how I was supposed to live my life. Not once did I mention narcotics.

Dr. Stanley has performed three surgeries on me. 1. Right shoulder bone spurs, 2. Right hip replacement, 3. Left rotator cuff +bone spurs. I have had amazing luck recovering from all three of these. I'm in my 8th week of rotator surgery and have little to no pain, good movement, and beginning PT soon. My hip replacement was easy and I ride horseback 4-5 days a week. Just had an expat which showed NO wear and tear! My bone spurs removal from the first surgery were easy to heal from/no side

His expertise is second to none...He is kind and patient and caring...He loves what he does and truly cares about his patients, not just their health but overall... I would highly recommend him to anyone....
