Gregory A Moffitt

I have found everyone in the Knoxville office to be kind and helpful. All lab folks are as well, and timely. I love Dr Moffitt. He is knowledgeable and answers all my questions. His staff is also responsive. But he is on time and I get in and out quickly.

He is so kind and take the time to talk to you. I love that the blood work is done and he has the results by Your appointment time.

Dr. Moffitt has been the most unhelpful doctors I’ve ever had. He didn’t listen to my concerns. Didn’t explain his reasoning for things to me even though I asked. Just kept telling me I’m fine and that I need to go on a diet. Making me feel like all my symptoms were all in my head. NEVER see Moffitt if you want real or quality care.

No ability to see signs of different types of thyroiditis, treats patients based on assumptions alone, doesn’t run proper tests or scans unless you beg which then allows the time limit of a correct diagnosis to expire. I took medications I didn’t have to take had he done his job. I literally had to do my OWN research to come up with what was going on with my thyroid. I paid copayments for absolutely nothing. I could only imagine how many of his patients have had their thyroids surgically removed per his suggestion unnecessarily when had they waited, they would’ve realized their condition could’ve been temporary. After being a patient of Dr. Moffit he sent me to the nurse Louisa Scott. She was ok with allowing my thyroid to slowly become underactive to culminate in now my lab work shows it is underactive as my numbers tripled in three months time. This happened during the Covid-19 pandemic and when I called and asked for this to be looked into I was told my only option was to stay with her or leave. Dr. Moffitt’s office runs like a well oiled machine. The staff is great to work with, kind and very professional! Dr moffitt was patient to explain my medical condition in layman’s terms and also to answer all my questions.

Diagnosed and successfully treated my son’s Hashimoto’s Disease. His quality of life dramatically improved. Yes Dr. Moffitt is very professional and caring.

They ordered a CT scan and the radiologist recommended that one area be rescanned. Dr. Moffitt refused to follow the radiologist's recommendation, and instructed me to see if I could get my primary care physician to do it. Very unprofessional, clearly does not care about his patients. They might be the biggest in the area, but it's just a cattle drive for $$$.

Horrible experience. Possibly worst experience involving medical professional.

Dr. Moffitt is a wonderful doctor with a great personality. He seems concerned about his patients and he takes time to listen to whatever you have to say. He has never been late coming in to see me and I always praise him for being on time or even early. I have been going to Dr. Moffitt for 9 years and feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an endocrinologist.

If I could give you zero stars I would. My mother was sent to you for uncontolled thyroid. Her levels have gone up and down, with no happy medium. Because her level happened to be in the normal range, you yelled at your staff and told them not to give her another appt without consulting you first. Well, it turns out, she has nodules on her thyroid, you jackass. Did you even review her thyroid levels over the last 6 months? NO YOU DID NOT!! Did you palpate her neck? NO YOU DID NOT!! YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT PATIENT CENTERED CARE AND KNOELEDGE BASED PRACTICE. I feel for your staff, you treat them like servants.... Dr. Moffit was very professional and his nursing staff have been very quick in handleing requests.

I have been seeing Dr. Moffitt for a while and I am very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Their lab and ultrasound department runs smooth and efficient. I love the fact that I can get my blood, ultrasound and physicians appt all in one place and at the same time. I have seen many endocrinologist and none come close to Dr. Moffitt. He is one of the few doctors who listen to their patients. I am extremely happy with this office. Dr. Moffitt is a wonderful and caring doc. In every situation and appointment he has been great. I owe him a bunch for my health. A tremendous doctor for anyone and I more than highly recommend him.

Dr. Moffitt is by far one of the most caring, compassionate, through, professional Doctors I know!! I would recommend him to anyone needing and endocrinologist,and wanting the best care they could ask for!

I am new to the area and finding an endocrinologist was hard. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Moffitt. He was thorough, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Things that my previous endo discussed when I asked, Dr. Moffitt brought up without any prompting. I left feeling like I found the right fit. I highly recommend him. His office is the most efficient office I have ever been to. His nurse, April, was equally kind.

Had my 1st appointment today. Was amazed at how run the office staff was. Labs completed while you wait. Thorough medical history. Asked all the right questions. I am a very complicated case and being referred to numerous doctors who will be reporting back to Dr Moffiitt to coordinate my treatments options and plans. Very pleased/. Looking forward to a more healthier future.
