Just unfortunately a VERY busy day in the office . 3:20 appt , left office just after 5:00 . Still spend time with you to answer questions; ). in that visit got X-ray , talk to mccommis and pain shots .

Very professional, friendly, and helpful

Great Doctor; nice office staff

The staff was really great with my mom.

Dr. McComis and his staff are true professionals and provide friendly and compassionate care. Always my choice when I or my family need orthopedic care and/or physical therapy.

Dr. McComis is a very attentive doctor, to his patients needs. I wouldn't trade for all the tea/ dollars in China. ????

Dr. McComis is a Great Surgeon! But it's not only Dr. McComis. The whole staff at North Point is just outstanding. Be it the People at the Reception Center area. The Dedicated Nurses and Tec's that guide you. Skilled Surgeon's and Practitioner's for no matter what your needs are. Rehabilitation Services "on site" with a Detailed Originated Doctor of Physical Therapy that oversees wonderful Physical Therapist and Skilled Aids that assist them. There's really no need to go anywhere else. Dr. McComis did a Full Left Knee reconstruction on me on 09-29-2021.Then Dr. McComis did a Full Right Knee Reconstruction on me on 01-18-2023. Doing my rehab now. My only regret is that I "ran out of "KNEES"!

The entire staff front to back were amazingly professional. I know Dr. McComis, as he performed my husbands bilateral hip replacements without complication. Dr. McComis is thoughtful and takes time answering all of your questions.

Dr Mccomis was very outstanding and thorough. The staff was very polite. Trying to get through on the phone is nearly impossible. Makes me want to go someplace else. I had over an HR. Wait time to make an appointment, if I want disconnected, then it was your caller 15 and another 1-1.5 hr wait. Please fix this the staff and Dr's and patients deserve better. Thank you

The front staff is always very nice and very helpful. The ladies at the back desks are very sweet and kind. I've only encountered one nurse, assistant that was nice and friendly. The others not so much. The Dr appears disinterested and I don't think he likes me.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff

I really like him. He replaced my sister hip and she likes him. I would refer them and the staff were great

Julie Pruim did an excellent job evaluating my knee surgery, suggesting additional things that could reduce swelling. She has a great personality and works very well with patients.

He did my knee replacement in 2013 and I have always had pain. When I saw him about it he said he didn't see anything wrong. I am now seeing another doctor. p.s. He did do a very nice incision..

Dr McComis did hip replacement on me 7 years ago. I was up and back to work in 3 weeks. I find Dr McComis to be a great dr. My wife is using him for knee replacement within the next couple of months. My youngest son has also seen him.

Dr McComis did both my knee replacements. I had a GREAT experience all the way around. Would definitely recommend.

Did both of my hips. I can walk without pain for the first time in 10 + years.

Dr. McComis did spinal fusion on me over 6 years ago. This man saved my life. Fixed me when I was originally told I’d have to quit my job and work a Walmart type job. Couldn’t repay him in this lifetime, hopefully the next my debt will be repaid. 100% trust this dr with my life again.

I for the first time met Dr McCoumis, the end of January. He was kind, professional & took a lot of time to explain my issue. I had a few more questions 7 days later. Julie called me the same day to answer all of them. I would not hesitate to refer him to any one. Important to me, eye contact & shaking my hand, answering anything I could think of! Thank you Dr. McCoumis!

EXTREMELY RUDE NURSES!!! 9:10am appointment, and I'm seen 1 1/2 hrs LATE-with the ONLY RESPONSE being-"Well, so-and-so isn't here and the Dr. is doing it by himself"! AFTER, AND ONLY AFTER YET ANOTHER 25 MINUTE WAIT-IN THE ROOM, I'M *TOLD* WHEN THEY MADE AN APPOINTMENT **FOR ME**- WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH ME REGARDING MY PERSONAL SCHEDULE!! RUDE!! AND THEN I GET AN ATTITUDE BECAUSE THEY WANT ME TO STAND AROUND AND WAIT ANOTHER 25 MINUTES TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR ANOTHER DAY OR TIME OR POSSIBLY EVEN POTENTIALLY ANOTHER LOCATION! THEY PROCEED TO HEAR BACK FROM THE OTHER DEPARTMENT,THAT THEY CAN SEE ME IMMEDIATELY!!!! IMPOSSIBLE--I'M ALREADY 2 HOURS INTO MY 9:10 APPT!!!! ABSOLUTELY WRETCHED EXPERIENCE!! His staff were wonderful! He has a down to earth personality which puts you at ease. He's also a very good knee surgeon

Dr. Mccomis is a man of few words but I have heard nothing but good things about him and I have decided to have him do my hip surgery because he is spoken so highly of. His staff and Tasha are wonderful

We are very familiar with Dr. MCComis. Unfortunately we have had to have 4 surgeries for our family in the last two years. The only good thing about that is that they were done by Dr. McComis. His knowledge and experience is above the others and when the surgery is indicated he is no nonsense and gets it done. His office has a complete staff of experienced people who work like a well oiled machine from xrays, casts, therapy, splints, supports, surgery prep, and pain management.

Dr. McComis did my 3 back surgeries when he was in Evansville IN and now im stuck with a cane and walker and chronic pain and stuck on medications. Not the life i planned especially when i only exist and dont live due to the pain from the time i open my eyes to the time i close them everyday, i dont wish this life on anyone!

Good Doctor and assistants. Have been having my right knee treated for OA,the euflexxa shot is amazing.

Bad surgery, poor care, 3 hr. Appt. waits, rude, lying, office manager. Dropped as patient at the third month post surgery appt. I was in extreme pain and the joint was black and blue. Dr. took an X-ray, wouldn’t show me, and left room. I was ushered out. 1 week later I got a letter saying he would no longer see me. Another X-ray elsewhere shows that the joint was badly placed, my bottom leg wobbles too much for me to stand on it. I am in worse pain and have less use than before surgery.

Was sent to him for a workers como case. Was extremely unprofessional! Repeatedly told me i wasn't his patient andkept asking me why I was there. Asked me if i wanted pain meds and i told him no. He left the room without say anything. 5 minutes later he walked by the room and i said excuse me are we done? He said uhhh yea drive safe. Dont waste your time! Find a good doctor else where! He never discussed anything with me. Wait time in his office was 1 to 3 hours!

Getting my knee replaced by Dr. McComis was the best answer to my pain and disability. It is like having my own knee back from 40 years ago. The scar is so minimal it's almost unnoticed by anyone.. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially Julie, his nurse practitioner.

Dr McComis did back surgery on me. He did a fusion. I am 71 years old and afterwards I felt 40 again. In my opinion he is the Best surgeon in the country.

Front office is absolutely horrendous to deal with. Back office and doctor is amazing. I have worked at 2 different doctors offices and from experience I have learned that the first impression is the front office. Maybe they should learn a thing or 2 from the back office. They tried to tell me I didn't call and speak with someone to pick up x-rays for my son when I clearly did. Two of the women took at this time walking around the office to figure out who spoke to me when they could have taken that time to do the x-rays. Then they charged $15 for a copy of the x-rays. I'm not sure if they did that out of spite or if that's really want the office charges but it was ridiculous. Dr. McComis on the other hand is great, he just needs a new staff or train them on being kind and courteous. Front office is absolutely horrendous to deal with. Back office and doctor is amazing. Dr McComis is kind, friendly and warm. He greets you with a smile and always shakes your hand. He is very thorough, looks over past information, therapies, tests and then listens intently. He answers all questions from the least to the most serious. He and his staff are friendly and efficient. I have had thee surgeries and all three ( two spurs in both shoulders, rotator cuff in right shoulder and trigger finger) resulted in positive outcomes. I would highly recommend Dr McComis.

Dr. McComis did a partial knee replacement on me the end of November. Started therapy the day after surgery. First 10 days I used a walker. The next week I graduated to using a cane. The week after I walked using nothing. Now at the end of January, I am walking without any pain...back to the gym. Continue to be amazed at my progress. I cannot thank Dr. McComis enough for making me whole again...great to be able to walk again like I did five years not being bone on bone.

Don't go to him????????????. After, he looked at my son's xray he told us his ankle was just sprained. I did not believe him bc my son was in so much pain so, I took him to another doctor. He looked at the SAME xray and told us his ankle was broke. I would not recommend Dr. McComis to my worse enemy.

Dr. McComis was clear with his recommendation. I respected his recommendation and grateful I had the surgery. Great outcome! No more pain and am back to my routine. My outpatient therapist (who does not know my physician) commented on the great job he did. If ever needed - I would not hesitate having him perform surgery again. His N.P. Julie Prem is Awesome - as well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Excellent experience.
