Dr Esselman is wonderful and has helped me with my allergies. I love the allergy staff and the ease of receiving help with my allergies.

Dr. Esselman and staff are great! I have high standards being a nurse and am very happy with everything.

Dr Esselman did a great job helping my dad. He had been to several other ENT Drs with no help but Dr E was able to figure out the problem on the first visit. Highly recommend him.

Not only is he highly skilled, his public relationship with his patients is outstanding.

My son had an accident at school. I immediately took him to the ER @ Doctors in Augusta. The pediatrician referred him to the specialist. She said that it was urgent that he see the specialist to minimize further health issues. The pediatrician makes an appointment with the clinic & gives me the information. I take off work the next day. Drive an hour to ENT in Aiken to be told oh we don’t accept this insurance. I asked Brittany at the front desk who was the office manager, she said I didn’t make your appointment Kelly did. Needless to say I lost time & money for absolutely nothing. During my visit for problems with some pain and dryness in my ears and dizziness, the doctor ordered a hearing test in which Medicare did not approve because it was coded as routine visit. I did not request this hearing test. I assumed it was part of doctor's Treatment. I called Medicare and they said it was coded as a routine visit. This was the first time I had seen the doctor and I did not go in for hearing test. I'm hoping that this billing will be resolved soon. I have to pay for the hearing test. I think it's very important For patients And doctors as well as the people that are doing the insurance billing in the office to all be on the same page. Insurance is very expensive. Patients need to be aware of Fees for unapproved procedures By Medicare. I would like to have had a choice as to whether or not to take that hearing test. I would've declined If I new Medicare was not going to pay for it. The last person I spoke to today was Evelyn in billing in the Augusta office and she was very kind. She's going to be getting with Dr. Esselman today or tomorrow To try to resolve this issue for me. When I called Medicare, they said that sometimes the coding is incorrect. i have been trying to schedule my daughter surgery passed three days now and i have been transferred back.and forth non stop by ladies, and have yet to get it scheduled or talked to the lady i been asking for , one lady in appointments was so rude that she said " i cant help someone who doesn't want to help her self." and hung up on me because i doped my phone while trying to explain what i needed to her she was rude from the time she picked up. so i called back and a young sweet lady by the name of destiny picked up and took care of me gave me a good time to call back to get the lady i need to get everything scheduled instead of being rude and hanging up on me, how are you suppose to trust your kids in the hands of a doctor office that has rude women in there over the phone what are they gonna be like in person and im not sure that i was speaking with the aiken office, because the lady i been working with has been calling from a 706 number because they have two location but i know i am having a crappy experience i was not complaining up until now when she was rude. but want to thanks Destiny for helping me get somewhere. and i hope to get somewhere soon today to help my kid out. i have been trying to schedule my daughter surgery passed three days now and i have been transferred back.and forth non stop by ladies, and have yet to get it scheduled or talked to the lady i been asking for , one lady in appointments was … More

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Everyone has a smile on their faces. They make sure that you understand the information that is given to you. Would highly recommend this office and Dr. Esselman.

Dr. Esselman and his staff are very polite and very personable. He spends time with each patient and gets to know you. They merged with Augusta ENT in January of 2016 and a lot has changed as far as the scheduling staff. It seems a bit more difficult to reach the Aiken office now because you first have to go through the Augusta office. But I have learned that if you ask to be transferred to the Aiken Office they will do it and the aiken staff and doctors there will take care of any problems or concerns as best they can. This is a great place and it feels like home. They will be moving again in the spring of 2017 to the old sports plus building on University Parkway. They are going to inform the patients of the move when the time comes. Dr. Esselman and his staff are very polite and very personable. He spends time with each patient and gets to know you.
