This Dr. is a complete quack. All he cares about is cashing checks. He took my wife's gallbladder unnecessarily, just for the 50,000. That caused her to spiral downhill and her quality of life has greatly diminished because of his incompetent and indifferent practices. His staff lies for him. He doesn't care at all about his patients. His license should be suspended. He literally has 0 compassion for people. Hes only in it for the money. Quack, quack, quack, and his colleagues back him up with second opinions don't even review the cases. He has ruined my wife's youthful demeanor and outlook on life. He is an awful human being, and a terrible Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gregory Borax for quite some time, in fact my family loves him. His nurse is very attentive (Meg) calls you back in a timely manner. Dr. Borax is humble, patient, and very kind. He explains everything to you about your situation where you can understand it. I would highly recommend anyone to him and his practice.

My mom was scared to get her procedure done, i take care of her she does not have a job, they were forcing her saying if she does not go she gets charged $150 for no show, yup not even 2 week passed we got a bill for $150, even though i made it clear that i just lost my job and i cannot pay the bill and my mom does not have a bill either, things happen but charging someone that much is ridiculous. Avoid this Hack at all cost, worst experience ever at a Doctor’s office. Arrived early at his office, per instructions, to fill out paperwork and waited over 4 hours, while my son was suffering from Ulcerative colitis. We sat until the waiting room cleared and saw an attractive pharmaceutical sales woman leave with lunch offerings… then he finally saw us after “lunch”!?! When asked how we were doing, we told him we had been waiting over 4 hours! His response, “I can refer you to someone else, if you wish”. Rude, arrogant, and unprofessional.

Someone from his office literally hung up on me. Unfortunately their are limited options where I live.

I have never seen Dr. Borak other then right before my endoscopy and colonoscopy. I see his PA Jordan. Jordan comes across as like he’s in a hurry to get out of the room as soon as he enters. He did take the time to diagnose an issue and explain it, but then was gone without finishing my appt. His demeanor is not good. Like he’s overworked or in a hurry to get to his next patient. I’m not happy with this practice and I will be finding a new gastroenterologist. I have not had any issues with the office staff or assistants. They have all been very nice and helpful. Most of the time, people treat you like you treat them. I’m respectful and kind with a sense of humor and the staff responds in kind. They are not the issue.

Honestly, I had a horrible experience at this office. I didn't even see a doctor I met with a nurse practitioner for about 10 minutes who told me I needed to have a procedure done. I was taken to a back room with a lady who complained about her problems and didn't make me feel comfortable or cared about as she took $200 for a down payment for the procedure. I decided not to go through with the procedure after the unprofessional nature of the office and I hadn't even met the doctor who would be performing the operation. They kept the $200 and charged my insurance $500 for a ten minute meeting with the nurse. Do not recommend unless you like money to be stolen from you! Also, when I left the office the nursing staff were loudly talking about a coworker they disliked. When I have called to be refunded the billing staff was rude as well. This is a lengthy post but it is long overdue. Especially after seeing the negative reviews. In 2018 I noticed my mother losing weight. She’d recently been diagnosed with diabetes and made a diet and lifestyle change. Weight loss was expected but not at the rate she was losing it. She scheduled an appointment with her PCP. She wasn’t able to see the doctor at that time so she met with the PA. She was told that if nothing was hurting her and she felt fine, all was ok and she should be worried. Basically her concerns were dismissed. This response didn’t sit right with me and I didn’t have a peace about it so I asked her to go to another doctor. That doctor was Gregory Borak. Dr. Borak who is her gastroenterologist. He took the time out to hear my mother’s concerns and listen to what she was experiencing. He order at CT scan. I thank God that he did! If not for Dr. Borak’s compassion, thoroughness, and willingness to listen to his patient, my mother may not be here right now. The scan revealed a pancreatic mass. The blessing is that was stage one. Within three weeks of visiting Dr. Borak, my mother had successful surgery to remove the tumor. By God’s Grace, three years later she is still here. The staff in his office have been nothing short of kind, professional, and compassionate. I am believer that angels walk this earth. Dr. Borak was my family’s angel. Pancreatic cancer is a silent and deadly killer. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Borak and his staff. Pancreatic cancer didn’t win this time! This is a lengthy post but it is long overdue. Especially after seeing the negative reviews. In 2018 I noticed my mother losing weight. She’d recently been diagnosed with diabetes and made a diet and lifestyle change. Weight loss was … More

We were told to arrive early for a 8:00 A.M. appointment so, we could fill out insurance forms for my son's visit. We sat in the waiting room until after lunch, despite repeated attempts to find out why we were kept waiting so long? We waited during lunch, while a pharmaceutical sales person brought lunch to his staff and did not see the doctor until after lunch. When asked, "How are you doing"? I replied, "We'd be better, if we didn't have to wait 4-1/2 hours to see you"! He responded angrily by stating, "I can get you another appointment... if you'd like"? He then, proceeded to evaluate my son with a clear attitude problem, very dismissive. The guy is a complete jerk, and has a severe attitude problem.

I am reading some of the comments that this Physcian was dry, and rushing his consultations! I did not feel that was the case. Besides, you choose a Physcian based, I hope on experience and training. Most doctors today receive smaller compensation from insurance companies, whose CEO’s make in the millions of dollars! If your looking for someone to smile etc., go to Mickey D’s??.

So I came to this guy with rectal bleeding. The doctor never sees you until before the colonoscopy. So I never knew who was going to probe me until then. I asked him to remove my hemorrhoids. He told me he would, I asked him to band them. He said we will. I wake up, and he didn’t remove them. They instead gave me cortisone to put up there. I call them and tell them it makes me have the runs and bleed more, I come in and they charge me to follow up. And ordered another prescription for a suppository of more cortisone. I wanted what we agreed on done! This is a racket to milk your insurance and your wallet. They could have done this during the surgery but this way they get all the copays, and two colonoscopies one diagnostic, other surgical. All at our expense the patient, both financially and physically. I sweat doctors in Georgia are the worst!

I have been seeing Dr. Borak since 2006. He saved my life by reading my x-ray without tunnel vision. He saw a cancer on my kidney and sent me to a surgeon. I was able to have a partial nephrectomy and no chemo or radiation. He still follows my GI problems.

BOARD NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS ONE. A VERY LAZY, UNCARING, GREEDY INDIVIDUAL. ONE OF THE VERY WORST PHYSICIANS I'VE EVER HAD. BARELY TALKS/COMMUNICATES, BUT SURE TO USE A FEW CHOICE WORDS TO SCARE YOU, THEN TEST, BILL, PRESCRIBE... BUT NOT DIAGNOSE, AFTER DRAINING YOUR ACCOUNT AND THEN SAY, "THERE'S NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO FOR YOU".

Last year, an emergency cropped up, requiring a stay at a local Hospital. Dr. Borak was assigned to my case. And one month later performed a follow-up colonoscopy. His rapport with both the staff and me, the patient, was excellent. He quickly assessed the situ (infection), assigned care and followed-up. The follow-up visit was easy along with the later colonoscopy. I felt at ease, even tho' I had had a serious condition that healed. Ischemic Colitis
