I have Prostate Cancer, and I followed Dr. Auffenberg's treatment recommendations. He performed the Biopsy, and Proctectomy, without having me to deal with various health care providers. He's always ensured consideration towards dealing with my Cancer. Cancer is horrible, but health care under Dr. Auffenberg is one less stressful aspect of dealing with this disease.

I have been under the care of Dr Auffenberg for a couple of years. I had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016 and had been under an active surveillance protocol for a few years. Following a recent biopsy my Gleason score had increased from a 3+3 to a 3+4 in one of the biopsied samples. Dr Auffenberg was very honest and explained that my cancer had gone from a low risk to a moderate risk situation. He thoroughly explained the options to both me and my wife and encouraged me to see a radiation oncologist so I was fully informed. After exploring all my options I decided to have Dr Auffenberg perform robotic surgery for removal of my prostate. Surgery was performed on 9/22 and by all accounts was a complete success. He was able to spare the nerves and all pathology reports are positive. Thus far I have had minimal side effects!! I think Dr Auffenberg is terrific. He has a great bedside manner, listens and is very honest, skillful and caring. He is 5 star in my book!!
