Dr. Gregory S Anderson

I made the right choice in Dr. Greg Anderson, when seeking information and relief regarding my increasingly painful left big toe. His entire team, the receptionists, the assistants, the technicians and Dr. Avery Garner are skilled, friendly, knowledgeable and confident in their interaction with you, the patient. Dr. Anderson never rushed through a meeting with me, or his explanations and answers to my questions, his time with me immediately before surgery or his visit with my wife and me after surgery later that same day. I felt confident and sure from the first meeting on through my final follow-up visit in my choosing of him. I highly recommend him. Dr. Anderson listens to you and he genuinely cares. I think he’s what being a good doctor should be all about !

Steward Orthopedic Clinic is amazing from the reception desk to the medical assistants to the PAs and the Doctors! Dr. Greg Anderson and Dr. Jeremy Anderson (doing his medical fellowship) are attentive, direct, encouraging and consummately professional. They are very conservative treating their patients with the least invasive methods first. They make all of the options clear and are real is about possible outcomes. Many people recommended Dr. Anderson as THE foot doctor in the greater Salt Lake area to go to. He rebuilt my mom’s foot 6 years ago at age 74 and she has an excellent outcome. I had my left foot rebuilt 8 weeks ago and will begin weight bearing this week. It requires patience but is worth the time and effort to be able to walk again. Update - I saw Dr. Anderson today for final post surgical x-rays and exam. The outcome of my major surgery is exceptional and my use of my foot will continue to improve. Dr. Anderson and his team at Steward Orthopedic and Sports Medicine does cutting edge work and I highly recommend them for any foot or ankle issue you may have. Love the personnel and the doctors are awesome

I was a PT in Salt Lake until I recently moved. I have seen many of Dr. Anderson’s patients. They all LOVE him and talk about how good he is with bedside manner. They talk about how kind, caring, and concerned he is as well as how much they appreciate his sense of humor. Dr. Anderson’s patients have very good outcomes. He sees a variety of different cases. I am always amazed at the surgeries he is able to perform. Patients are very pleased with their progress and grateful for the opportunity to return to doing things they loved and with less pain. Dr Gregory Anderson is amazing ! I went to see him due to foot pain. He had me. In surgery the next week and 4 months later my foot is pain free. I had very minimal pain after surgery. Dr Anderson is very thorough and has excellent surgical skills. His office is very efficient and everyone was very friendly. Dr Anderson is very personable and takes the time to answer questions. Super helpful! Was in pain for months able to to get in and helped figure out what the problem was. After a couple months of working to avoid surgery was able to fit in to make steps to be able to walk again without pain. Professional, funny, helpful and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend! Dr. Anderson is super sweet and very intelligent. He figured out how to fix an issue I’ve been struggling with for more than 30 years. I have known Dr Anderson since I was in high school. I have had many feet surgeries and he is the only person I trust to touch my feet. He does awesome work and now his nephew is working with him does an awesome job also, being taught by the best.l

My dog bit me by accident and I ended up in the E.R. they called Dr. Anderson and a short time later he and Jeremy came yo see me. I can't express the care and concern he had. He was so kind and explained everything that was going on and what needed to happen. I'm 68 and he and Jeremy definitely raise the bar when it comes to truly caring. They treated me like a person and not like a patient that just needed to have a surgery. His office staff is amazing always friendly. I highly recommend him for and foot problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson for podiatric issues, particularly if surgery may be necessary. I have had two complicated foot surgeries (one on each foot) performed by Dr. Anderson...both of them were very successful. The pain I was experiencing prior to the surgeries is completely gone. I really appreciate the support and 'coaching' I received from Dr. Anderson and his staff during my recovery! I never thought I would ever need to go to a podiatrist. But that changed two months ago. I managed to tip over a full size, upright piano and not get out of the way fast enough. One ER visit later, and then I found myself being prepped for surgery. Long story short. I managed to crush three toes. And quite well I might add. This is where Dr.’s Gregory and Jeremy Anderson come in. From consulting with the ER physician and recommending and performing the surgery, to the extensive follow-up, and wound care. They have been excellent to work with. They have served me with dedication and a good sense of humor. I can’t recommend Dr.’s Gregory and Jeremy Anderson highly enough. Thank you! Very professional and thorough in helping my daughter with her feet.

Dr.s Gregory Anderson and Jeremy Anderson did an amazing job of repairing my "problem" foot. After repairing 4 toes on my right foot I'm able to take my 2 mile daily walk after only 3 months. Really minimal pain right after surgery and through recovery, no pain pills needed. I highly recommend both of them they explained everything well, also excellent after surgery care, even sent nurse and therapist to my home the day after. Thank you both. Gregory Anderson, DPM is one of the best podiatrists I have ever found. He is an amazing doctor who is personable and extremely knowledgeable. He understands and can treat difficult cases such as mine with great success. Dr. Anderson takes the time to really listen to me, answer my questions and make sure I understand the treatment plan. One of the things I love most about him is that you can tell he cares. His staff is friendly, efficient and care as well. I can highly recommend Dr. Anderson without any reservations. After major complications from a nisan wrap, I was very hesitant to have foot surgery for fear of more surgery complications in the process of fixing a hammer toe. However, Dr. Anderson was very gentle and kind as he strongly persuaded me that surgery was the only option. The surgery went well. He's a five star doctor and I highly recommend him!!! Dr G Anderson and Dr J Anderson are the best. I want to personally thank them for the best care I could possibly get during my difficult time. I got an infection in my foot that required some major surgery and they did their absolute best to save as much of my foot as possible. Thankfully with their efforts and expertise they saved most of my foot and walked me through a few difficult wound care visits. I’m grateful for everything they did and continue to do. Doctor Anderson is the best! He was thorough and very helpful in his treatment and medical advice. Everyone I know that has seen and referred me to Dr. Anderson has spoken very highly, and it’s evident why. I will be going to him for all my podiatry needs, which there’s no shortage of as a hockey player

We travel 3.5 hrs every appointment and we always end up spending 2 + hrs in his office just to see him for 5 min if your lucky enough to actually see him and not some new residents!

Terrible. The surgery was far more extensive than needed, and it destroyed the beautiful foot and has caused a lifetime of pain. Anderson is known for letting students and family members do the work, as a nurse in training proudly told me that she had done part of the surgery. If you need any foot surgery....go to an orthopedic foot/ankle specialist. Podiatrists should not be allowed. You can file a complaint with the state as they are constantly trying to expand their scope to make more money. Anderson is a nice guy, but not a decent surgeon.

Very personal, friendly, explained procedure in detail

I am 70-years-old and although not a jock, I am active with exercise, walking & Zumba. Ankle & heel pain began to restrict my exercise regime. The first physician I went to was sure I did NOT have an Achilles tear, although her exam was cursory at best. I had no improvement. The physical therapist I was working with recommended a second opinion. I am so glad to find Dr. Anderson. From the beginning, I was diagnosed with a tear and had surgery within a month. The Achilles tendon was hanging on by two fibers. Recovery was hard, but I am almost fully recovered after only 5-months. My ankle and Achilles feel as good as new & I have been able to return to all my activities. I would fully recommend Dr. Anderson and staff.

Dr. Anderson is truly an expert. He has taken care of our family for years, and we get great results every time.

Had surgery to have a large bone spur removed and my achilles reattached. All my appointments have been straight forward, brief and easy. Surgery was spectacular.

I had a nail fungus under 8 of my 10 toes. It was becoming painful and I didn't know how to treat it. I followed suggestions I found online but nothing was helping. Dr. Anderson steered me in the correct methods. I have very little pain now and the nails are looking much better.

As far as the care goes, I’d give 5 stars. But we’ve had approximately 10-12 office visits over the course of a few surgeries and every single time, the wait has been at least 30 minutes. I’d say 45 minutes to 1+ hr is the norm. And I’ve seen them turn away patients (have them reschedule) for being late. Pretty hypocritical. So even though we’ve been happy with our care here, I can’t recommend coming here because your time is not respected at all. As far as the care goes, I’d give 5 stars. Totally did more to my foot than needed. My bunion was still there immediately after surgery and is still there now - 2 years later. My big toe is numb, I have a sharp pain under my metatarsal padding and he had the personality of a doorknob.

Have had two surgeries by Dr. Anderson. He explained thoroughly how he would perform the 1st, did so and i have had no problems at all. Had to have a heel spur removed recently. So far it is doing well. He did as before and explained all portions of the procedure. I of course didn't listen to the little detail-this will take awhile to repair-close to a year. My fault that I didn't listen as I want to get well yesterday. Dr. Anderson has a nice sense of humor and understanding.

Took 1 xray of my foot. Recommended surgery. The situation was bad, so agreed. Never had another xray or scan. Permanently scarred my foot with a pressure point on the soft cast. His intern tells me what Dr Anderson saw in surgery was way worse than he thought and I will never walk right again. Did Dr. Anderson tell me this!? No! Doesn't help me get a test done for out of state Dr. To see if I can do anything. Refused to return my calls . wouldn't help me find a solution.
