Dr. Gregory Earl Anderson

I cannot recommend this Doctor. I have had a lot of dental procedures in my lifetime, some a bit painful, and some just as smooth as silk, but this man hurt me so bad that I looked around for a cattle prod because the shock was so extreme. I actually went into a state of shock and almost passed out as the last staff member was leaving the room. Thankfully I got her attention and they gave me some oxygen to get some color back into my face. I would apologize for such a negative review, but to be honest I'm going to have to say stay away from this one, there are too many other good dentist and oral surgeons to go to.

Dr. Anderson and staff were so nice and helpful! They were efficient but thorough for the exam and were able to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend their office to friends and family!

Just so efficient and professional staff was amazing and had two extractions and did in such a timely manner I recommend Dr Anderson anytime for reliable service and great customer service .

I had a tooth extracted and he and his staff was great and the procedure was really good.

My husband was in the ER bleeding from a tooth extraction. The ER doctor had Dr. Anderson come to treat my husband. The doctor treated my husband and he was able to go home. I would give five stars but we were not told oral surgeons do not accept Medicare so we may have to pay out of pocket. The hospital should tell patients if someone is not covered by their insurance

I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. I don’t do needles very well, they make me nauseous. The doctor asked me if I wanted laughing gas to help with my nerves and it helped a whole bunch. All around a great experience

He is the worst doctor I’ve ever had. My face has permanent damage now. And there is no surgery to fix it. Had to go to another oral surgeon to try and get an answer! Dr Anderson has wonderful bed side manors and always lets me know the pros and cons of what I dealing . Very intellectual and listens to your wants and needs and fears . Greg is friendly and likeable. He does all possible to avoid pain. He and his staff are very efficient and friendly.

About 10 years ago Dr Anderson was recommended to me by my dentist, and I won’t go anywhere else if I have any choice at all. I have gone to him for emergency and non emergency visits and he has taken great care of me each and every time. He is very good at what he does. I can say from personal experience, his number one concern at all times is the patient and is very kind and accommodating. From the very first time I went to Greg, every time he walks into the room he treats me like close friends, and I’ve seen him treat all of his patients the same way. He didn’t tell my friend that was going to be removing teeth and part of a bone. They found out from getting an X-ray from a different doctor.

They are always quick to get you in. I did end up with an infection on one side after wisdom teeth removal, Dr Anderson met me at his office after hours to put a drain in for the infection and made sure I had the prescriptions to start the next day. Dr. Anderson was knowledgeable, efficient, had a great "bedside" manner, and a fair price. His staff was pleasant, too.

My experience with Dr Anderson was traumatic at best. It was a long ordeal that resulted in a hospitalization. This should have been a simple extraction. I ended up with sepsis and a four day stay in the hospital. I attempted to file a report with DOPL, the hospital, and even a lawyer. I would stay as far away from this person as possible. After my experience people came out of the woodwork to tell me if similar ordeals with him. Even hospital staff mentioned issues with him in the past.

The staff here are incredible. As far as health coverage is concerned, they go above and beyond to get your procedure approved. Sandra was literally on the phone with my insurance company for three straight hours. She gets it done! It's refreshing to see a medical office work so hard on behalf of their clients. I would never have been able to afford this surgery out-of-pocket. If I could give six stars, I would. The staff here are incredible. They took me right in when I was having severe tooth pain. I ended up having infection and decay right up to nasal floor. After clearing out the infection there was some extensive repair which included taking tissue from another part of my gums to fix damage to nasal floor. It's been a pain filled recovery, but I feel Dr. Anderson was brilliant in how he went about fixing something that could have been a much larger problem, so grateful! When we were there we were waiting for 3-4hrs before we were seen. We then had to wait seven months to here a reply from them. The reply that we got was in the form of a bill that showed that we owed $400 including things in the bill that we were told we would not have to pay for. The doctor was nice but the follow up and billing is terrible. We called trying to resolve some of these issues and the person that I spoke to was terrible and very rude. I've had several relatives get their wisdom teeth pulled here, including my wife. We were talking at one point and sharing horrific wisdom teeth experiences when we realized that everyone who had a bad experience had gone to Dr. Anderson. My wife said it was worse than childbirth. We went with a local anesthetic to save money (Dr. Anderson suggested it due to our poor college student status), and it was essentially like torture for her. Not only was the procedure extremely painful and mentally excruciating, it was poorly done. Another sibling who is an oral/facial surgeon out of state looked at her teeth several month later and actually pulled out a portion of a fractured tooth that Anderson had left behind and was shocked at how bad the experience was. Again, I know several people who have all had extremely painful procedures that took a long time to recover from here. Fortunately I saw someone else for my wisdom teeth and was doing very well the next day. I would not recommend going here. I had problems with their billing people. They took a little under a year ( like a few weeks) to bill me and then it was alot more then I was told. I had a jaw problem and and was given a silcone tooth guard to put in at night to keep my teeth apart just like 5 people I know had to keep teeth from grinding at night. The problem is it caused sores in my mouth and cut my tongue. I didn't use it and my jaw healed on its own. The problem was when I compared my tooth guard to my friends ) it was the same as theirs but Mine was double the price. When I talk to billing I had to request an itemized statement, because they just sent me a bill and told me to pay it. I am sure Dr. Anderson is competent, but working with his staff is a nightmare, they don't let you know how much things are, they don't send to insurance promptly. and they don't communicate very will with how much and why I have to pay.. I was afraid to go back when the guard hurt my mouth because I was afraid I would be charged more. I don't know why on billing they called it a surgical splint when it was just a plain guard to keep me from grinding my teeth at night I get no answers , they just don't communicate with you., but because of their coding I pay more. Dr. Anderson and his staff have been excellent to me following a work accident that resulted in surgery and multiple follow ups. They have worked me in for a same day appointment every time I had a problem, and have always promptly answered my questions about the process or aftercare. Currently my dad has been getting treatment from this facility due to trigeminal neuralgia and he’s been attended even after hours, that shows the amount of care they put forth in treating and helping their patients! Impressed with Dr. Anderson. Funny and knowledgeable. Treated me with respect and was honest in his appraisals. Unlike other practitioners, did not dismiss my uncommon symptoms as anxiety, and actually did research. Further treatments/services were sequitur and grounded in reason (in the patient's best interest), unlike certain other practitioners... As others noted, certain office staff were not transparent/forthcoming. People deserve to know how much these operations cost so that they can make an informed decision without feeling deceived. When an hour long service costs a month or more worth of your labor... I agree with the practice of not routinely prescribing antibiotics for extractions, the side effects and consequences to your symbiotic gut are not worth it for non-life saving surgery. Make sure to follow all directions given. Seek care if you experience infection after an extraction.
