This is the first office that told me tarter control toothpaste contributed to the erosion of my gums. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful and though they have done jaw rebuilding and zirconium posts many times they are aware that I haven’t.

A very pleasant experience. Everyone is so nice and sociable. Front desk and techs do a great job.Can' t leave Dr. McKenzie out .I have been going there for many years. He is the best.

When I arrived, I gave them my insurance info and they never told me they were not in network. So, of course, I got a huge bill at checkout. However, Dr. Mckenzie and his staff were very nice and pleasant. He even prayed with me before the procedure.

Well perhaps it's an antiquated slogan, but it certainly properly describes my experience with Doctor McKenzie as well as with all of his staff. Professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness oh, yes all of those are truly important, but show me the LOVE! That element is certainly in place with each visit I make and I am convinced it's in place and shared with all who come through the doors.

I have been going to Dr. Mckenzie for years on end and refuse to ever switch oral surgeons. He is a very kind, caring and humble person. I have many teeth and gum problems because I am on Seizure meds. My gums take special care. He has always done that as well as his staff. His Christian behavior and actions are noticed. I would recommend him to anyone.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr McKenzie for more than 20 years. We go to him because he is the best we have found in the area. We have tried others but he is without equal in our opinion.

I have been a patient for over 15 years and have never had an unpleasant experience with Dr Mckensie or staff! Before finding Dr Mckensie,dentist would have to give me nitrous just to do a cleaning... today my favorite hygienist Nadia cleaned my teeth and I never felt any anxiety! From the front receptionist to checkout everyone treats you special.... I love going to the dentist because they treat you better than family???? they are ????????????

I have never been a fan of dental work but after visiting Dr. McKenzie. I think I have changed my mind about some of it. He and his staff were quite professional and treated me with the upmost respect. But...more than that they were honestly concerned about my well-being. My insurance, I found out, didn't cover the treatment I needed but they did not pressure me to move forward. Instead, Dr. McKenzie seeing that I was stressed over the situation, prayed for me to receive wisdom and guidance to make the right decision. That act alone was enough for me to realize I came to the right place. God bless all of you.

Dr McKenzie’s office is beautifully decorated, a warm fire, soothing hymns, and a friendly, efficient staff. Dr. McKenzie is always friendly, joking, and very easy in the eyes! What more could you want?!

I knew no one or nothing about this office before I arrived. I was referred to him by my dentist in Camden, SC. I did not know what to expect. The whole experience was wonderful from the time I arrived until I left. Greeted with a smile and a kind word from everyone in the office. Dr. McKenzie was amazing! He took a lot of time with me to go over everything and to lay out my options and to make sure I understood everything. He shared some personal experiences with me and put me at ease with all my concerns and questions. He acted like I was his only patient that day. He had excellent "bedside manner"... just the right amount of intelligence / knowledge / experience, but also loved his humor. Had me laughing most of the time. Great personality! Being a minister, myself, I appreciated him sharing his faith in Christ and giving personal examples of living out his faith. Then, he ended our time in prayer and prayed for me. I could not recommend him/his office any more - 10 out of 10.

I've been going to Dr McKenzie's office since the 1980s. He is a fantastic periodontist. His office staff and dental hygienist Nita are always helpful. Nita insures that I get the supplies I need for my dental health and goes above and beyond to do it. I'm greatful for them all.

Very Professional and Caring He spoke Motivation and tips of Succeeding in Life with my daughter while discussing her surgery. And he also prayed..I was almost in tears, sometimes a person needs a "spoken blessing" to make their day go better.

This was my first visit and I felt very welcomed. The Dr and the staff was very nice and explained everything that they were going to do in full detail. I don't like going to the dentist but they made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend them to my family, friends and ALL truck drivers....

A good experience always, so the 4 stars and the absence of the word "great" is because I was unexpectedly tagged with a $200 plus cleaning bill upon checking out, when the last 2 times, 3 months apart, I pd around $30. We are in mid May mind you and I have met my $750 medical dedeuctible a couple of times over (that may noy apply, IDK). I was disappointed, kinda mad, and embarrassrd for having to question this $170 hike. I wish Iwas told before the visit so I can decide whether or not I could afford it. Everyone there is very nice and professional, so please do not displace my frustration, I recommend them a100%; but since they are not a general dentist's office their price will be a little steeper than a general and or someone out of network. I just wish i had a heads up. I must say though that the lady at checkout said the reason for the hike is because Delta Dental no longer pars with their office and most importantly, the difference would be mailed to me in a check.
