Dr. Olaverria deserves more than 1000 stars. We have been a patient of Dr. Dholakia since 2006 and we are beyond happy to have him as our neurologist. He has save my son not once but twice and now my son Krish is 14 years and leaving a healthy life. Dr. Olaverria gave me the courage to not give up on my new born son in 2006 and at 6 months - he has his first surgery which was successful and a year later i thought i was going to loose my son again but he rushed him into the Surgery for a revision of the tube put his in brain. That surgery was very successful and here we are 14 years later my son still sees Dr. Olavarria annually as he has improved so much. We have over come many challenges and we are thankful for Dr. Olavarria. We have worked with the whole team with Dr. Olavarria and am grateful for a wonderful team working with the dr. Krish and i are very happy and would recommend Dr. Olavarria to all my friends and family. The office staff is also very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Olavarria was very kind and thorough. He spent plenty of time asking questions, answering our questions, and even reviewed the MRI with us.

He is more than 5 stars, he has empathy with their patients and family. Always he explains very well diagnostics and procedures.His staff are available for help all the times. They care about patients 100%.

Dr. Olivarria is an excellent doctor! My familywill be forever grateful of All what he has done for our son, and family! Our first child was diagnosed with tethered cord few days after he was born, and we were desperate looking for answers and possible treatment to help our child. Dr. Olivarria was the doctor who gave us emotional support and a big hope that he could successfully treat our child and so he did. Once my son was 7 months old he did the surgery to untethered the cord and my son immediately stop crying and we saw smiling in his face. My son didn’t suffer more pain after surgery and he is a normal 4 years old child as today. We love Dr. Olivarria and Pray God to bless his life and work! Dr. Olivarria is an excellent doctor! 100 stars! This Dr saved my daughter's life. She was involved in a traumatic elevator accident and near death when we arrived via helicopter. He rushed her into surgery to save her life. Words cannot express my gratitude. He has been an amazing doctor. 5 Star review is an insult, his intelligence, bedside mannerisms, caring, gentle, love and gifted surgical skills are worth more than 5 stars. We called Arnold Palmer Hospital- Pediatric Neurosurgery at the end of February/beginning of March for an appointment after being referred for a possible helmet for our daughter. They gave us an appointment for the beginning of April. We got to the appointment and was finally told by the Physician Assistant that we wouldn’t be getting a cranial scan for our daughter as Dr. Olavarria wasn’t there. This was the whole point of the appointment. The P.A. assured us that they would let Dr. Olavarria know to call us to make the appointment and that he is normally very accommodating. We are almost 4 weeks post appointment and still have not heard anything. I tried calling twice and they keep telling me that someone will reach out. We have a follow up appointment coming up but unsure what the point of it will be as we never got the cranial scan to measure my daughter’s head and see how much it has changed. I will not recommended this office. We LOVE Dr. Olivera- he is the BEST in Florida! I have 2 boys with tethered cord. Both with differing cases and both not standard text book cases. I have a special needs son who was 9.5 yrs old at the time of us meeting Dr O and he was falling often and had been for years. And and I would assist him when walking and when his MRI was done showed only a Fatty Filum but normal conus. Some Neurosurgeons may of said nope there’s no need for surgery BUT Dr O listened to his symptoms and he did perform and surgery and now our special needs son is doing SO much better- now he never falls. Even his central sleep apnea has gotten better and he may not need his Bipap anymore- we will know at his next sleep study in 6 months. Now our older son who is 13.5- is being evaluated for TC- he also has a normal conus but NO fatty filum BUt he has other TC symptoms like scoliosis, kyphosis, a synrinx that takes up the majority of his thoracic spine, high arches, hammer toe, smaller than normal pituitary (which can be from tethered cord, short stature (which can be from TC) he lives in chronic pain nothing helps him ever BUT DR O again is listening to his symptoms and realizes not all TC comes dressed in the same pretty Bow- so he is running additional tests on my older son and I just know they’ll come back that he has tethered cord. I’m sooooo thankful to Dr O for his bedside manner, his heart to help his patients, his patience to listen and his responsiveness to want to help come up with the solution!
