Gowdhami Mohan

My husband is VA and this facility has taken advantage of him and the VA. There is absolutely no communication during any of the "testing" or procedures. He had to go in 10 times for petty things like "Going over your results". He requested them to email him results and/or telemed and the excuse was HIPAA. I've had a medical degree for 15 years, this is not a HIPAA issue. He has telemed and emails through the VA with all of his other providers. This facility simply wants to charge the VA as much as they can at the detriment to my husband. It's an absolute waste of his time. NOW they requested him to do blood work with excuse "we want to make sure nothing else is going on" He gets his blood work done monthly through the VA and we have records of this but that wasn't good enough for them. Again...they just want to rack of up charges with the VA using vague excuses that can easily be dismissed. I would not recommend anyone to this facility and I will be informing the VA of the outrageous way they ate taking advantage of veterans. As a medical proffessional myself I'm disgusted with this behavior. Do better, do what's in the best interest of your patients.

My husband and I really enjoy and appreciate the care we receive at this office. We were seen last week and I meant to leave a review but forgot as I do not often do these things, but felt it necessary to comment because of the amount of care and help we received for this visit went well beyond their call of duty. Kelly (I believe that is her name),the nurse, is just fantastic. She is so caring and efficient, really makes you feel welcomed and heard. She also follows through on her promises and went above and beyond to help my husband get the assistance he needed from the VA. Something we had been working on for months with no luck and she took care of it all and got it resolved in one day! Dr. Mohan, our doctor, is great and so thorough. She is such a caring and gentle soul who truly cares for her patients. You feel welcomed at the office, never feel rushed or pushed a side. The manager and front desk ladies are also exceptional. I went to her and spent I waited for 4 months and still didn't get myc pap machine. Her Secretary and the woman in the little office are smart butts. I'm going through An Med to get my cpap machine.

I love Dr. Mohan. She is one of the best doctors in the Up-State of SC. I have been seeing her for over a decade. I only have the highest respect for her and all good things to say about her. Her bedside manner is impeccable and the best.

Great place to go if you like talking to answering machines, not getting the CPAP that they say you need and then being blamed because you didn't call to remind them.

:Highly unprofessional: waited a whole month to get a appointment 2 days before my very first visit they cancel my appointment extended my appointment another month their excuse was that something came up with the doctor so now it was going to be 2 months of a appointment I did speak with a nurse told her I felt that it is unacceptable and enlightened her of my suffering she told me that she would see what she could do and that she would get back to me she never did I had to call back 2 days later and try to start the process all over again by explaining I have been suffering due to the lack of sleep 4 hours at night if that and no it's not sleep apnea mine is due to the fact that I cannot get into REM sleep and stay there I had to explain this to the the receptionist and other office personnel all over again but once again they had no empathy and saw fit to not even try to squeeze me in I am not asking for any special treatment just didn't want to wait so long for another appointment when I have waited so long already and no suffering patient should I contacted my insurance and filed a formal complaint and with their surance that it was unethical unprofessional for them conduct themselves in that manner I also did call around to several doctors offices and asked what do they do in the same circumstances they told me that they always take pride in putting their patients first and no matter what they would have squeezed in all of the patients that they had to reschedule and that they never reschedule so far out and that it was unethical even if it is inconvenient for their office they would made it work the nurse I was speaking with was so concerned about my condition that they actually fit me in yes I had to wait a week but still at least it wasn't as long as 2 months I thank my maker that I do not have sleep apnea I can't even imagine having that disorder and having complication and not being able to get into the doctors due to their cancellation of an appointment and unreasonable extension and highly lacking in professionalism what if I have had complications while I was waiting and possibly ending up in the hospital or worse watch out patients this doctor's office really has no empathy for their patients and as I have read the several most recent posted bad reviews just being posted a few months ago I see I am not alone on the evaluation of their professionalism and also with their good reviews being one or two years to 3 years ago and only one good one a month ago I feel Vindicated in my review also some major revamping restructuring and training needs to be accomplished immediately[ Answer to your SPHINCTER response aware of Jan 16th 2018 appt referral Nov 30 2017 and that my complaint highly explanatory is about the appointment Department Anderson sleep and pulmonary CAN ONLY LEAVE REVIEW HERE! ONLY ONE APPT NUMBER TO CALL! We received a call today from someone that said my husband owed this doctor $18 but I sure don't know what for because we have never heard of a Dr Mohan until today. Also, he has not even had a sleep study there. I had to look up the location and I know for sure he's never been there. He hasn't even been in Anderson Hospital or wherever you were supposed to have done a sleep study at. So I can't figure how they did a sleep study on him. I don't know how, when or where they came up with a bill from when he's never even heard of this doctor before. I giess this is something we will have to try and find out. I can't give them a good review when we've never met the doctor. I was unable to get the 2 sleep studies performed after calling in late Nov of 2014 bc of their scheduled so I scheduled one in March of 2015. To shorten my story, I had to basically force Dr. Mohan personally to get me my CPAP by Nov 6, 2015 as I was having surgery and they required it. The staff is very friendly in the office, but the process was horrible and not very patient friendly. The reason for writing this review is that I JUST rec'd my $1070 bill from them today (2/9/16)and it's wrong.
