Absolutely love Dr Rao had him when I was a baby still taking my kids to him ❤️

I love Dr Rao and the other doctors and staff in his office, they are simply the best. They do walk-in appointments, Dr Rao will call you after your appointment to make sure everything is ok, and many times he answers the office phone himself. He is very old fashioned when it comes to bedside manner and treatment of his patients, he is very kind and invested in making sure children in his care feel comfortable and calm. He is very invested in the community also, donating money to local hospitals and schools. He is the best.

Dr. Rao he's a wonderful, caring Dr. He was my pediatrician, then my childrens and now my grandkids this should tell you what a great service he provides.

Amazing I had him for years and he always helps

My kids has been dr rao patient many years back. They now are 44, 38. 34. I remember so clearly how so compassionate he was. I would have to call him wee hours of the night, he sounded so exhausted but returned my calls right away. . I highly respect this wonderful human being, dr, and all has done for Amsterdam, NY. I no longer reside in Amsterdam for many years now.

Unreal, doctors office Refuses to see my kid. Said they were closed when google hours say 5 pm close and they are already closed with no doctor there. Told now isn’t a good time. Un real. Lmfao.

Great doctor with a heart of gold. Both of my daughters (ages 7 & 15) have been seen by Dr Rao since birth and he provides a human touch unlike others. His decades of service to being a pediatrician has made such an impact on many lives. The office is not brand new and state of the art so don’t expect a shiny building. Very experienced Pediatrician! The man has been in practice for 52 years! Expert, and a caring guy!

My child has been a patient of Dr. Rao for his entire life. He is now 13 years old. Dr. Rao is one of the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough doctors around. He truly cares about his patients, and he will fit your child into his schedule no matter what. He is simply one of the best. He has always reminded me to stay on top of my child’s immunizations, and when my child has been sick, Dr. Rao will see him without an appointment. He truly cares. He will stop what he is doing to take care of your sick child. He truly cares about his patients and is one of the best doctors around. Thanks for everything, Dr. Rao.

The best pediatrician, hands down!! You will not find another doctor as good as Dr. Rao! He is kind, charitable, and a very good doctor!! You can walk right in, and he will see your children, and he is very, very helpful! We just adore him, he really is the best!!

This man should receive an award. My husband and I were speaking about this man that would care for the poor in Amsterdam that had no money to see a doctor....but, he would see them! He also gave out his personal number for his patients to call too! He is a Saint.

Busy place after 12 pm try get in early

We love Dr. Rao. He is the kindest and most wonderful doctor. We are so thankful for him. He is a blessing to our family and to the community. He truly cares about the children he helps.

I can not say enough about Dr. Rao & his staff. They have been taking care of my son for a while now who recently has had to have an emergency surgery. They are great at following up & even call to see how he is doing. They take walk ins I've never waited more than 15 mins, they will talk to you on the phone too. They are very respectful to my son and also extremely caring. They donate so much too. I Honestly can't say enough good things about this Dr's office.

My experience with Dr. Rao was extremely poor. He forgot immunizations repeatedly, ordered the wrong medications (once ordered pills for my infant) and delayed making referrals to necessary specialists out of sheer laziness. I can't say enough how much I regret going to Dr. Rao.

Only complaint is refusing to give me a coy of my childrens 0-24 months milestones,but other then that its great.
