Gordon A Zimmermann

I had 2 knee replacements with Dr. Zimmermann. One done 15 years ago and the other done a year ago. My first appointments with him were very typical, he was nice and listened to my knee problems. I never saw him before surgery or after which was very upsetting. My first surgery, the only issue I had was an overdose of Morphine, which luckily my son ran to get me help. My second surgery, I was left with a pain in my left leg and hip that I received no answers when questioned to 3 different Dr's that did follow ups. One said, it would go away, one said it was a pinched nerve and one said it could be sciatic nerve. After xrays, which showed no damage, I was still given no answers. I know Dr. Zimmermann is retired now but I would not recommend his team at all.

OAH and Dr. Zimmerman and Dr. Chris Luna are without a doubt the VERY BEST! I have had a total knee replacement with Dr. Zimmerman and a total shoulder replacement with Dr. Luna. Only the very BEST surgeon's are affiliated with OAH which is the crown jewel for Orthopedics!

I went to Orthopedic Urgent Care, was misdiagnosed with a chronic knee condition when I had an acute injury that subsequently needed surgery. I never met Dr. ZImmerman, but he was the one to sign my note.

The very best orthopedic doctor in Connecticut. Extremely knowledgeable, efficient, capable and skilled. I wouldn't want my family and friends to go to anyone else.

Dr. Zimmermann is by far the best physician I have ever had to see. He is extremely knowledgeable and my experiences with his P.A. were exceptional. I live across the country now but if I ever had an orthopedic problem I would not let any other doctor operate on me.
