Dr. Gordon Edgar Wuebbolt

Perhaps a miss understanding but when I called for an eye exam I thought I would get a complete evaluation of my eyes. Prescription for glasses if needed as well as evaluation for cataracts , glaucoma etc—. All they did was check for cataracts . I’m 75 and know I have the beginnings but in my opinion far from needing surgery . That was the only option Dr Wuebbolt offered. I felt like I was being hustled from the moment I walked in. That was my experience and I won’t be going back to see Dr, Wuebbolt or community eye care.

Polite staff and answered all my questions!

Community Eye Care Specialists, Warren, PA. First the push to have money upfront. I have insurance, so I have a co-pay ($10), they argue I didn't & had to pay $100.00 (before I even had been seen). Then he took a couple of pictures of my eye (corner has a cyst) with his cellphone, upload to cp. Then charged my insurance company outrageous amount. Then when done, before they scheduling anything more then want over $500.00 to remove a cyst in corner of eye (sweat glad clogged). Right before this, the front desk girl pushed hard for $25 eye cream, to use two weeks prior to procedure (if I don't use cream, Dr. Will not do the removal). I desided to wait on the procedure. Walked out after partying $125.00. Then I called to cancel wanted a refund for Unopened Eye Cream (still sealed). Nope eye cream purchase is non-refundable. No one told me that, before or during or afterwards (untill I called). Just a scam to make money! I'd be very careful in dealing with them!

I was cross-eyed as a kid (I was around ~5 years old, I'm 26 now) and Dr. Wuebbolt did the surgery. I have 20/20 vision and have never had any complications. He still remembers me and takes extra time to ask me how I'm doing. He's obviously great with kids (has 4 daughters of his own) who I went to school with who are all very nice. I would highly recommend going to CEC.

I am a vet and the VA was paying for my cataract surgery. Dr. Wuebbolt took extra time to explain to me the procedure and answered my questions thoroughly. He is HIGHLY experienced and knows what he's doing. You can tell he works a lot with veterans and will make sure you are taken care of. Great doc. Awesome staff. Top notch surgery center in Warren - they even offer rides to and from surgery.

The office was on time, friendly staff and I had all my questions answered thoroughly. Great experience overall!

I had a great experience with Dr. Wuebbolt. I have had a lot of problems with my eye due to complications with diabetes and I finally feel as though I have actionable plan to help my vision and I left with a better understanding of my issue. He knows what He is doing and is very patient.

Dr. Wuebbolt is A+ all around. He is professional, helpful and trustworthy.

I did NOT see Dr. Wuebolt. I saw another doctor. I am rating them low because of my experience with their technician. I was very clear as to what I wanted for my glasses. The technician ordered blue tinted lenses when I clearly said I wanted photogray lenses. Then she told me I just needed to get used to them. I refused delivery and asked about my husband's glasses. She had them prepared just like mine. We refused his glasses. THen they sent us a bill for the glasses that they made wrong. I contacted the insurance company. They said i had to allow them to remake the glasses the right way. We've been waiting over a month. I called today and they don't know where the glasses are. I did NOT see Dr. Wuebolt. Had surgery about 3 years ago by this Dr. Have had nothing but problems with my eyes since. He would not answer questions honestly. Because I'm 100% totally disabled vet and the VA was paying for my surgery HE, not me, would give me the lower cost cataract surgery.

I have been seeing Dr. Wuebboldt in Warren Pa. for more than four years. He has attended to my serious eye conditions and I could not ask for better care from the doctor or his accommodating and skillfull staff. I do not hesitate to recommend family and friends to Dr. Wueboldt and staff for eye care.

Dr. Wuebbolt and his staff answered all my questions and were very polite. I would highly recommend going to Community Eye Care

I had my first appointment with Dr. Wuebbolt today. I have had very complicated eye issues since a traumatic eye injury as a child. All of my surgeries have been in Boston with the best Dr.s in the country. Dr. Wuebbolt clearly knew what he was talking about and enlightened me about some current eye issues I have. He gave an excellent explanation of the issue. I felt he was honest, well studied and gave good recommendations. I will become a new patient of his.

I had a consultation with Dr. Wuebbolt today and will not go back to him. He would not give me a chance to ask questions about my surgery. He was arrogant and condescending. I am an educated and reasonable person, but he was condescending and very arrogant. I attempted to ask a few reasonable questions and he said to me, "I'm not going to do it today, you're stressing me out." He left the room after two minutes. I won't see a doctor who won't let me ask questions and treats patients this way.

Has done wonderfully by me.
