Dr. Nishimoto is a very knowledgeable, skilled, and caring doctor and surgeon. He has done both ankle and bunion surgeries for family members and we got excellent results. I had major foot surgery. Almost painless! He did a fantastic job! I would recommend him to everyone!!!

I went to Dr. Nishimoto for a sesamoid bone removal to eliminate the need for wearing a right foot orthodic. I was a hiker and 3 days a week runner in my early 50's and view health and exercise as very important. His bedside manner is top notch. He explained the operation would be straight forward, coming in through the top of the right foot near the big toe joint and removing the sesamoid bone on the bottom of the foot located about 1 inch further back on the foot. Following the operation and after after six months of healing, I was having significant pain in my big toe joint, I had never had pain there before. After 1 year, Dr Nishimoto conducted a second exploratory surgery. He said the operation went well, he found a tiny tear in one of the three toe tendons and sowed it up. After 6 months of healing, the pain persisted. A year later after the second operation, Dr Nishimoto conducted a third. He decided to smooth the bottom of the big toe bone under the big toe tendons. Two weeks later, I was in for the post operation. He showed me a picture he took with his cell phone of two quarter inch jagged sesemoid bone pieces and scar tissue he removed from my right toe joint. His first comment was "I don't know how this could have happened" followed by "you must have a high tolerance to pain". He had left two sesamoid bone fragments from the first operation in the big toe joint. Two years later, it is painful to walk into work or go for a walk with my wife, running and hiking, things I love, I can no longer do. To stabilize the toe, two staples have been put into the top of my big toe (I had changed doctors, no longer trusting Dr. Nishimoto) but the toe tendons were badly damaged from Dr Nishimoto's mistake. I have stayed silent no more and recommend getting a second or third opinion before going forward with surgery with Dr Nishimoto. My background is engineering, I have hesitated to write this, but do not want others to suffer a life changing, debilitating injury by Dr Nishimoto. Thanks. Dr nishomoto comes highly recommended. I had problems with my big toe and heel. Received corrective surgery last year, doing much better. He’s got a great manner and is a pleasure to see.

Dr. Nishimoto explained the numbness in a toe (benign tumor -nothing to worry about) and made me some great orthotics for my shoes. I'm very knock kneed and they help me walk better and without the pain! Thank you!

I've been working with Dr. Nishimoto for 8 years. I came in with lots of shin splint issues, I have not had problems since using custom orthotics and shoes recommended by him. He's very friendly and pleasant to work with.

In this case I had the privilege to by treated by him as a patient. He will sit down, give you a thorough explanation, and ask you more than once if you have any questions. He is so caring. I have referred several people to him. He is also a highly skilled surgeon. He performed surgery on both my feet and I was 100% healed of the painful condition I had.

Had an appointment today with Dr Nishimoto .I've had RA since I was about 14 so I've seen a lot of foot doctors over the years and had a bad experience with a foot doctor at Everett Clinic who was insensitive and was just basically just a flat out Jerk ,wish I could remember his name ! Anyway Dr Nishimoto was so sweet he has empathy and he even pointed out some good thinks about my feet which made me feel much better despite the fact that my feet were in bad shape.He taught me a few thinks that I need to do to preserve my feet,before thinking about doing surgery. I left there feeling much better about my situation , I would highly recommend Dr Nishimoto .
