Gordon Shepard Morano

Met with Dr. Morano this morning to discuss the placement of a feeding tube using the interventional radiology method. Dr. Morano was personable, confident, knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. He had reviewed information in my file in advance and was well prepared. Since I have recently been diagnosed with ALS, the choice to have a long term feeding tube is both daunting and necessary as swallowing becomes progressively more challenging. Dr. Morano was a blessing because he made me feel safe and confident that he not only knew what is needed in general, but listened to my concerns and addressed them in detail without overwhelming us. I will post a follow-up review after the procedure is complete.
