Dr. Martin and his staff provided excellent care. It was easy to schedule appointments and in a timely manner. Dr. Martin is very personable and took the time to answer our questions.
Dr. Martin and his entire staff are everything that is missing with with our health care system. They go over and beyond to make sure that your every need is met. My mother is treated with love and care. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Martin and his staff are always incredible . I’ve been seeing Dr Martin for approximately 5 years now and as far as I am concerned he saved my life after two mini strokes. His hands are directed by God. He cleaned my left cardioid artery and I now see him once a year for an ultra sound to make sure everything is ok.
I had a CT scan in the hospital which showed something abnormal with my carotid artery resulting in the instructions of following up with a Dr. Martin (vascular surgeon) within a week. Following said instructions, I called and, while explaining the reason for the needed appointment (CT scan/carotid artery/hospital referral), the receptionist interrupted me and asked "Do you need to schedule an appointment?" I said yes, then waited for her to continue. I answered her questions (date/time/insurance information). She ended the call with "We'll see you on [date] at [time]." In the conversation, nothing was mentioned about appointment preparedness, and she clearly didn't want additional information as she would talk over me if I went longer than a short answer (ie, "yes" "no"). The other side is that in my explanation, I tried to convey that the hospital said the follow up needed to take place within a week. The ER doctor said to "not put it off." The receptionist ignored that (no waiting list, call back for cancellations, etc.). She firmly stated that the earliest would be a 3 week wait. So be it. I chose to stick it out due to this doctor being highly recommended. At the appointment, I arrive. Wait. Get taken back to a room. Asked questions. Ignored again but this time by the Nurse Practitioner. In trying to explain some of my medications, she kept talking over me and diagnosing me. Did I mention I'm a new patient, and she just looked at the paper work I filled out and gave her upon my arrival? Impressive, right? Then, when she finally listens to what I have to say, I'm informed that "We don't have the records of the scan." At this point, I'm done. I've been ignored enough. I paid a copay just to wait, be talked over, and told that they don't even know why I'm there. Long story short, Nurse Practitioner gets doctor, doctor comes in and asks "So, what's going on?" I said, "That's why I'm here." Then he proceeds to explain how one goes about retrieving medical records. At this point, I'm more than done. I explained the problem I had with the receptionist. My husband explained the important timeline given by the hospital. No one apologized. No one tried to figure out a solution. The doctor just sat there while the Nurse Practitioner clicked on the computer, neither saying anything. We left. Time was, indeed, wasted. And, it could have been averted if the receptionist had listened in the first place. Conclusion: Absolute lack of communication all around. Receptionist could have avoided the headache she caused by simply listening when scheduling the appointment. Rather, the office runs with the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. All without remorse or willingness to make amends for mistakes made. Dr. Martin might be a wonderful surgeon but, due to my experience, I choose to never know that for certain. I cannot recommend. Absolute lack of communication all around. Receptionist could have avoided the headache she caused by simply listening when scheduling the appointment. Rather, the office runs with the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. All without remorse or willingness to make amends for mistakes made. Dr. Martin might be a wonderful surgeon but, due to my experience, I choose to never know that for certain. I cannot recommend.
