Dr Teplitz performed A1 trigger release surgery on my left thumb. He's an excellent Dr/Surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone!

Best hand doctor ever.

Dr teplitz charges for services not provided Watch your billing very carefully I would not recommend him at all since money seems to be the only thing he wants of his patients

Dr. Teplitz did a number of surgeries on my fingers, one wrist for carpal tunnel which left me with sensitivity in my hand and two surgeries on the ulnar nerve - neither of which worked, resulting in ongoing nerve pain. He wanted to operate a third time, but never followed up with me so I spoke with two other surgeons who both suggested I not do another surgery unless things get really bad.

Do not trust him He bills for services not performed Go anywhere but NYU Lang one or dr teplitz Again do not trust him!

I used Dr Teplitz a few years ago for my carpal tunnel surgery and he was amazing. Now i have torn tendons in both elbows and he would be a second opinion. I'm waiting on week 6 and i still haven't heard from them just to give me an appointment. They have all my medical records and reports etc. i call them more than once a week and they told me to be patient. 6 weeks is more than patient just to get an appointment. Dr Teplitz will not be my 3 red opinion after all since they can not even give me an appointment. I understand the entire Covid thing but 6 weeks juts to get an appointment because they insisted on getting my records which they have had for over 2 weeks. Annoyed!!!

I’ve been with this Doctor since my first elbow surgery in 2004. He also repaired my bicep and a broken hand. If it wasn’t for his help, care and expertise I wouldn’t be the athlete I am today. I can’t thank him enough.

Excellent Physician and staff.

Dr Teplitz has performed surgery twice for me & i was very pleased both times from the begining to the end.

Excellent doctor/surgeon. Very meticulous and precise surgeon and wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Teplitz has performed several surgeries on my hands and I have never had a problem. He truly knows what he is doing and he cares about his patients. I have recommended him to many of my friends, family members and peers.

Seen the other reviews, yes i waited a while to see Dr Teplitz, but once he was in the room he talked to me like a person not a number. He treated my injury in an exemplary fashion, all worth the wait. Compare it to the best restaurants around, can you get a reservation an hour before, if you can, well the food probably is not good, but if it is a restaurant that you have to reserve a week in advance, now your talking a good meal. Dr Teplitz is 5 star!

Dr Tiplitz, is a kind caring doctor. He took time to explain everything,has a wonderful bedside matter,I will highly recommend him. Thank you doc!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! They have no respect for patients in their office...if you can even get in! I waited an hour in office with many other people and they never even called to give every one the heads up that the doctor was running this behind. Then when I was finally brought into room and waited another1/2 hr they told me I still had 2 people ahead of me (this was after an hour wait.) No apologies, nothing. Don't waste your time in this unorganized office...go elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Teplitz for a while. Most recently he did surgery on my Finger remove a cyst . I was prescribed pain med but never had to take any. What an excellent job he did!. My finger is healing quite nicely and I am very pleased. Dr. Teplitz is professional and respectful.......Thank you for your great service.

I called his office and was told Dr. Teplitz could not see me until January 11th, two weeks later. The office manager offered an appointment at 11:45 AM on January 11. I would need to take a few hours off from work but agreed to the time of the appointment. 3 days before the scheduled appointment I received a call from Dr. Tiplet 's office confirming the appointment again. When I arrived at his office I was told my apt. was actually 1:45 PM and I would have to wait 2 hours to see him. I left.

I waited 2 hours to see this Dr. Teplitz twice for an inflamed finger. He saw me for 2 minutes and did absolutely nothing for my finger. My finger got so bad that I had to see another Dr. who told me I had an infection in my bone and needed antibiotic immediately. Dr. Teplitz is so overrated. I would not recommend him.

The doctor is very good, but his policies and staff are not. If you have a prior injury and cannot produce all of the old records (even for a very old, healed injury), he refuses to see you (even if you've been his patient for other things). Additionally, the staff at Winthrop Orthopedic are so rude, it makes you reluctant to call and try to deal with. For one problem, I was told to be seen immediately if it recurred, but the staff didn't care. Took me two weeks to be seen.

Dr Teplitz has performed surgery on me for a distal bicep tear about 7 years ago. I have been to him ever since and he is my favorite doctor. He repaired me when others said to leave it alone. I have referred anyone I can to him including my own mother so that should say something about him. A++. The down side is he doesn't accept my new insurance now but I will still pay the price to see him.
