Very straight forward and I got in very quickly! Fixed my cavity the same day! Very cheap! But very good!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 6+ years and have never been to any other office besides the one I had originally grown up with. So, with that, I immensely enjoyed my time and experience at Swearingen’s dental office. Tabitha, the dental hygienist who took care of my teeth was a very warm and compassionate employee. I enjoyed speaking with her (when I could) and felt at ease throughout my checkup. Definitely recommend! I’ll be back in 6 months! We were in the office for two hours! I met dr Swearingen jr for literally two minutes and this man had a weird attitude. He seems to have issues and I was immediately uncomfortable around him. He was willing to remove my 7 year olds tooth. But I didn’t trust him after only just meeting him. He made it clear that we should go somewhere else if I wanted to be in the room with my son. The assistant woman was nice until I told her I wasn’t comfortable with him taking my child into another room to remove his tooth because the dr seemed angry and red in the face for no reason! I had literally just meet him. The guys attitude was sudden and unwarranted. I see now why he has bad reviews. Do not trust this place or the employees! We are never returning here. Do yourself a favor avoid this Quack. There are several other Dentists in the Toronto Area that are 1000% better than this one. And as for his staff they are nothing but a joke as well.

Doctor Swearingen was very helpful and took the time to answer my concerns and questions. I had to wait about a half-hour after my scheduled time before being taken in to the examination room (a minor inconvenience).

great doctor hardly any pain at all with 6 teeth extracted he would explain everything he done before he does it makes your experience as confrontable as he can..

This so called Dentist should have his license taken away from him and become a Wal Mart Door Greater

He is the worst he slipped and cut my tongue had to have surgery to fix it

A friend went in for a tooth to be pulled. After a lot of confusion with even the appointment time and day, ended up going in 2 hours after the original time. He stuck the needle in the gum so far it hit the bone, and then complained saying if you're going to scream we can just forget about it. After removing a second tooth that was also bad, he gave no anti-biotic or pain meds for the day. Very bad experience and won't go bad is my friends comment. I went to him when I was younger. I remember that he was filling a cavity, and I told him I still felt the pain. He got angry and gave me 6 shots all in a row, but I could still feel the pain because he didn't get the right area. Fast forward to now about 5 years later I have a dentist appointment today for tooth pain with a new doctor. She tells me that the other dentist(Swearingen) drilled into my nerve on my tooth, and put the filling directly on top of it. Over these years it has been slowly killing my nerve and causing me great pain. I now have to have a root canal done and dentist work equalling $1000 just to have the work he has done fixed. I specifically asked my new dentist if there was anything I could have done to prevent this and she told me with the work that was done nothing I could have done would have prevented this. This dentist is the WORST! Never go there! My wife and I are snowbirds so we need a dentist in FL and a Dentist near Chester WV. Our insurance company referred us to this dentist. We called them to verify they take our insurance and they confirmed they did. We made appointments, had simple cleanings, x rays and exam done. The denstist spent a total of less than 5 minutes with us. 5 months later I start get harassing calls from a collection agency. It seems they billed the exam under some code that our insurance does not cover. It was for an exam we did not get. Nonetheless, they double the amount of the individual debt in order to exceed the 50 dollar threshold for collections. They never billed me or called me prior to turning me into a collection agency. I finally just paid the damn bill today but want to warn others to never patronize this horrible bait and switch establishment. There have to be more honorable dentists out there somewhere! On tuesday he attempted to pull a tooth and halfway through decided he couldnt and I needed an oral surgeon. He banged, sawed and pulled on my tooth. After another dentists review he should have never attempted to pull my tooth, he should have known by looking at the x ray that I needed an oral surgeon. Now I cant get into an oral surgeon for over a month and my entire jaw is swollen and I cant eat. He is arrogant and rude. I would never recommend this dentist. They always seem to be able get me in soon as I want in and there all very nice I dunno what those others are talking about and he quick at pulling ...I advise going there ...Travis ....

The receptionists was very rude .

The staff were able to get me in to see Dr. Swearingen very quickly - which was much appreciated. He's amazing at pulling teeth.
