She and Claudia were always available to answer my countless new mom questions. Bedside manner was unparalleled of any doctor I have visited and she took the time to get to know my husband and I. Love the staff!! I wouldn't go anywhere else

Dr. Kroll now only works as a concierge doctor but I was her patient when she offered both concierge and normal services. Dr. Kroll was nice at the few appointments I actually saw her but when it came to my delivery, the treatment was extremely disappointing. First of all I was supposed to be booked in the hospital to get induced since I was a week late, but she failed to call the hospital to schedule my appointment. Luckily my body naturally went into labor that same day, so Dr. Kroll was in the hospital at this time. But Dr. Kroll never even came in my room to say hello or wish me luck or introduce me to the random doctor who was going to deliver my baby. The next day she did pop into my postpartum room to say hi, but never apologized or anything. Dr. Kroll is probably a good doctor if you pay her to be one. Such an incredible experience working with Dr Kroll for both of my pregnancies. Gigi was my OB prior to her moving into her concierge program and her office/staff were fantastic. With my second pregnancy, I decided to find a new OB because she had switched her practice model, but after being misdiagnosed by another OB who was understaffed/disorganized, I quickly found my way back to Dr. Kroll. She is incredibly knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease through everything. I cannot say enough good things about the concierge program and how valuable it is to have that type of access to your doctor. No long office wait times, same day appointment scheduling, texting access 24/7 with dedicated staff and Gigi. I never felt that I couldn’t get the answers or support I needed in a timely manner, and would highly recommend her to anyone. Dr. Pinkus caused so much pain and grief in my life. Beside that she neglected me twice as a patient here is a brief description of her. Dr. Pinkus has very poor bedside manners, no respect to your time and your waiting time will be around 45-90 min and then she will show up for 2 min max. When I had additional question to ask, she just got up and was talking to me with open door on the way out, trying to tell me that she is too busy to discuss and needs to leave, it was terrible, I felt like I was trying to steal time with her. She prescribes me wrong medications numerous times, even after I showed her what I exactly need. She just too scattered and never pays attention. She has no compassion if you suffering losses and she will never follow up with you even after serious surgery. She is a worse doctor I ever had. My biggest mistake I changed her from Dr.Kroll who is much much better doctor or I didn’t leave her earlier. Avoid her if you want to have a healthy pregnancy to reach the finish line! I can't say if my experience was unique, or if other's have been through the same. This was our first child and we were beyond excited. We started off looking forward to the doctor's appointments. Eventually, we realized we were going to have to savor the experience in spite of Dr. Pinkus. Not the best bedside manner and not very friendly to me as the partner. We had to wait an hour to be seen numerous times. This can be expected a few times, but when my wife consistently had to return to work much later than anticipated, she had to take half days off for every appointment. There's little consideration for the schedule of working mothers. My wife and I told ourselves as long as Dr. Pinkus delivered our baby safely, that's what mattered. Well, my wife's due date was 7/1 and she went into labor on 7/2. When we called the doctor's office on the way to hospital, we were surprised to find out Dr. Pinkus took the entire week off for 4th of July. My wife had a visit with her a few days prior and wasn't even informed. We were told if Pinkus was out, then Kroll would fill in. Turns out, it was a third Doctor we had never heard of before. My wife had complications and had an emergency C Section all with unfamiliar hospital staff. She gave birth on a Thursday and finally saw Dr. Kroll on Saturday. Dr. Pinkus didn't even call to see how the delivery went or how my wife was feeling. We had to call the office after the C Section for medical advice and then again to schedule the post operation check up. They didn't even follow up to do that. Won't be using their services again. Oh yeah, when COVID became serious the office sent out an email to their patients saying they needed $15,000 for facemasks, gloves, and other supplies or they'd consider not providing services. This didn't seem professional considering the expectant mothers and patients with medical conditions they committed to providing care for. The ultra sound technician was amazing...a true bright spot. I started seeing Dr. Kroll shortly after I became pregnant. I was referred to her by several close friends who raved about her. The office and staff are extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Kroll is AMAZING! Her demeanor and bedside manner is so calming. She takes her time to listen to all of your concerns and questions. Aileen was fabulous as well. When choosing a doctor for your medical care, you want to make sure you feel heard and supported.  I cannot recommend a better doctor for pregnancy and gynecology than Dr. Kroll. She is the absolute best Doctor out there! I have been going to Newport Center Women’s Health for many years.  As a former employee, I know the behind-the-scenes work that every employee puts in to ensure each appointment and experience goes as smoothly as possible. When I moved an hour plus away, I was very disappointed that I may have to find another doctor. However, when I found out I was expecting early last year, I knew that I had to have Dr. Kroll as my doctor.  It was never a question not to travel as far as I needed to see her.  Dr. Kroll has the best bedside manner, is up to date on her medical knowledge, and is truly invested in her patients. She always keeps you 100% informed and educated to help in navigating your medical care. I found out early in my pregnancy that I would be high risk and need to deliver no later than 37 weeks. What could have been an extremely stressful time for me, Dr. Kroll and her staff always made sure I was up to speed on all available information and constantly checked in on me and my baby. I would also like to give a shout out to Dr. Pinkus, who aided in taking care of me. She is absolutely terrific, knowledgeable, and ever so sweet. My overall experience was fantastic. I felt educated, reassured, and cared for. Dr. Kroll is truly a one of a kind physician. Not only is she widely respected in her field, she is an incredible human being. I don’t know what outcome I would have had during my 2nd pregnancy if she was not there to guide me every step of the way. I had a very textbook 1st pregnancy, but my 2nd was far from the same. She was a literal life saver- I don’t think many doctors could have handled such a complicated delivery with such finesse. Dr. Kroll is truly one of a kind doctor. She greets you with a warm smile and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Dr. Kroll is amazing in every way! Not only am I a patient of hers, but I'm an employee of hers as well. Wait time is about an hour. They forgot when I asked them to run an important test. The doctor gave me incomplete information on my health and I found out months later, during a check up with the nurse. Pretty inconsistent and long waiting times.

I have been a patient of Aileen's for a year now. She takes her time explaining and answering all questions. Office staff is very helpful and friendly. Office and rooms are very clean.

I absolutely love the doctors and staff here, I have zero complaints about them or their care! I do have one issue and that is with their phone system. It is so difficult to get a hold of the doctor. They turn their out of office voicemail on early and switch it off late and don't allow an option to leave a message with and over TWO HOUR window in the middle of the day when a lot of people don't have the ability to call at any other time. You guys are great but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING let me at least leave a message. I missed my doctor's call back by less than a minute and couldn't get a hold of her and now I have to wait two hours for information that a desperately need to get TODAY. I can not express how thankful I am for Dr Kroll and her amazing staff. The entire staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. I had an amazing experience at Newport Center Women’s Health with Dr. Kroll. She has such a genuine bedside manner and truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Kroll is absolutely amazing in every way. She’s an incredible surgeon and physician, empathetic mother, and very personable. Being a physician, I’m highly critical and picky about who I choose as my doctors, and Dr. Kroll has exceeded my expectations every time.

Of all the doctors I’ve ever had, Doctor Kroll is number 1! You would be hard-pressed to find someone as genuinely caring and helpful as she is. She introduced the Mona Lisa to me and it has been a life changer! Feeling like a young woman again… :-)

Dr. Gigi Kroll has been my gynecologist for over 20 years. When I discovered a lump in my breast, she sent me immediately to get a mammogram and ultrasound, set me up with the best surgeon and oncologist, and has been my guardian angel ever since. Now, as a 3x cancer survivor, I'm navigating my way through the post-menopausal misery of cancer survivors who can't take estrogen to alleviate their symptoms, which, frankly, can truly affect one's quality of life -- including relationships. Dr. Kroll recommended the Mona Lisa procedure and gave me literature to read. She answered all of my questions patiently and openly. There were three sessions, and Dr. Kroll even performed the procedure in the last session herself. I felt valued and supported. Most importantly, I felt relief from several of my symptoms even after the first session. Today, a month after my last session, I feel able to participate in all aspects of my life more fully than I have in years. Gigi Kroll is an amazing doctor who will be right there with you for happy times and scary ones. She has a wonderful PA and caring nurses as well. When it came time to deliver, my baby was breech which required a c-section. It was a difficult delivery due to some complications but Dr. Kroll handled it without hesitation knowing exactly what to do to ensure the health of both myself and my baby. Dr. Gigi Kroll truly saved my life. I went in as a first time patient with symptoms of what I thought were fibroids but turned out to be endometrial cancer. Dr. Kroll took quick action and made sure I received the treatment I needed within 3 days of our first meeting. In between and after, she regularly checked in on me to make sure I was feeling and doing okay. She's an excellent, thoughtful doctor but her kindness and compassion are what make her stand out. I was referred to Dr. Kroll by my PCP when my husband and I decided to start our family. She was my doctor for both my pregnancies. I can't say enough fantastic things about her and her staff! From Day 1 everyone has been so professional, courteous and informative. Dr. Kroll's bedside manner is out of this world! I'm well aware she probably has hundreds of patients, but when she was with me it felt as though I was her only patient. NP Aileen is also so sweet, so professional and saw me many times during both pregnancies. The front desk ladies are also fantastic. This is an excellent team who ALL worked together to bring both my babies into this world. They all genuinely take their patients' and babies' well-being to heart. For the duration of 2 pregnancies, I only had 1 scheduling hiccup happen and when it did the staff was very apologetic, accommodating AND the office manager called to follow up with me. This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Newport Center Women’s Health since moving to Orange County four years ago. For the last four years Dr. Kroll, Dr. Pinkus, and the entire clinic staff have been attentive, professional, responsive, reassuring, and have helped me bring my two greatest miracles into this world. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age requiring chemotherapy, I wasn’t certain I would be able to ever have children. I was recommended to Dr. Kroll by a colleague and am forever thankful. Dr. Kroll and Aileen have not only treated/helped me to have two healthy, normal pregnancies, but they have been there to reassure me along the way and give extra attention/take into consideration my past medical history. I can say without any doubt that Dr. Kroll is dedicated to the health and wellness of each and every one of her patients. She not only spends clinic visits providing medical care and education, but she has excellent bedside manner and has excellent rapport with her patients. I’ve never felt rushed during any of my appointments and am thankful Dr. Kroll and Aileen always help to take interest and answer my questions—whether they be simple or complicated. I’ve experienced Dr. Kroll’s true dedication to patients first hand as she not only came in on her weekend off to deliver my first baby, she even came in on her vacation week to deliver my second child. She rapidly determined the cause of my pain and crafted a very much needed treatment plan. She is reassuring, kind, and really cares about her patients. The office is beautiful, calm, and relaxing. I am always greeted with a big smile which calms any nerves I have in going to a doctor’s office. I love Dr. Kroll! I’d move heaven and earth to make sure she delivers my babies. Her care during the pregnancy is so genuine, her bedside manner is what everyone loves so much about her. This is my fourth baby and third with her, she feels like a family member, not a doctor. I couldn’t have more trust in her to take expert care of me during this special time. I have been seeing Dr. Kroll for years now...since well before I tried to get pregnant, during my infertility struggles (was eventually referred to a wonderful fertility doctor), and now after two successful pregnancies and the respective deliveries of my baby girls. She is truly the best- so kind, caring, smart, nonjudgmental, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. She also has an excellent reputation in the community and to know her is to love her. As with all OBGYNs, she often gets called into deliveries has to deal with emergencies, but she has the most competent, lovely staff. They are so professional and responsive and even when Dr. Kroll herself can’t see me, I feel I am getting the best care. I have referred Dr. Kroll to dozens of people and everyone says the same thing, “She is amazing!!!!” Also they just remodeled their office in Newport and it’s beautiful. Dr. Kroll is an amazing doctor. I can't say enough about her and her staff. They are all so kind and personable. They truly make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Kroll is hands down the best OB/GYN! She has great bedside manner and makes you feel as though you are her only patient. I feel so lucky to have had her deliver my baby.

I read positive reviews about Dr. Kroll and was happy to see a female OB. Unfortunately, it seems that it is impossible to see Dr. Kroll unless you are pregnant. For gyn issues you get seen by NP who is friendly but young and lacks clinical experience to make appropriate management decisions. The office was very chaotic and crowded, probably because I tried to get in around January 2017 when former partner left the practice and the doctor was handling double the volume. The décor is inviting and the location is convenient but I was going nowhere with my care. Frustration from being unable to reach staff over the phone due to limited phone answering hours mounts, there is no way to leave a voicemail either. Unfortunately, I have to rate this office poorly due to poor access to staff, unresponsive manager (never called me back as promised on two separate occasions), and unskilled NP. I received the care I needed with a wonderful OB/GYN in Newport Beach Dr. Mhaller whose staff was kind and RESPONSIVE. Dr Kroll has delivered both of my kiddos. I trust her completely. She has been my Gyno for 14 1/2 years now and has the best bedside manner!! I have referred many of my friends to her who also love her!! She is the best!!

Poor Chaotic Office Environment - I call during their limited phone hours (830-1130 and 130-430pm) and the phone is only answered 20% of the time. I have to call 3 times to get test results, they never call me to let me know what they are. In order to get a response, I have to drive to the office in person. They don't call/email or text to confirm appointments nor do they use an online confirmation tool via email or text. Lastly, the OB will more than likely not be the one to deliver your baby, they belong to a group and 1 of 10 doctors will deliver your baby. Claudia is great; however I will be switching practices due to the chaotic office and systemic disorganization. Dr Kroll is amazing. Nice doctor caring. Her staff is terrific, from the NPs and the Medical Assistants. They always have a smile and treat me good. They aren't too busy to take a second to chat. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

Absolutely thrilled with this office and Dr. Amy Van Blaricom! I left my other doctor's office due to some very negative experiences with both the staff and doctor and a complete 1980 degree difference with Dr. Van Blaricom. She was thorough, efficient, did not rush me out or start walking towards the door while still talking. Her staff was friendly, efficient, and thorough. The experience was extremely positive and Dr. Van Blaricom is very knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding,and knows her craft!
