A truly amazing Doctor who listens and cares. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone better. From the initial phone call to set up an appointment, Venus showed an amazing level of patient care, professionalism and courtesy. It solidified my decision to visit this office. The entire staff deserves 5-stars and tons of accolades. Incredible doctor and staff who surely cannot be rivaled! Thank you so much! UPDATE: Dr Lewis and his staff successfully treated my broken ankle in less than 6 weeks without surgery and with an air brace and laser therapy. Another surgeon had told me there were no options but surgery, and that this break was too severe and extensive to heal in less than 4 months.

Dr Lewis totally screwed up my bunion surgery and all he wanted me to do was extended physical therapy. I got 3 other opinions and all said they could not help me because of how severely over corrected my surgery. It’s been over three years since I had my surgery and I am still in severe pain. I got referred over here to get an acl surgery done. When I called to make the appt I told them I needed acl surgery and asked if the doctor could do it, they said yes then I wasted 2 hours of my day getting over there for the doctor to walk in and tell me he doesn’t do acl surgeries, he then referred me to another surgeon and I left. He never looked at me or did anything then I get a bill in the mail for $175 for a new patient visit. When I called to dispute the bill since they made the appt for me telling me this was something they could do then they couldn’t that is not my fault, I believe I should have been charged like a $50 late fee or something not a $175 bill for them lying to me on the phone then charging. Dr Lewis said since he walked in the room it’s an automatic charge even if it’s his incompetent staff fault it was scheduled. Moral of the story ask to speak with a nurse instead of the front desk before going there since you will be charged even if he doesn’t perform the surgeries or is able to help, biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent and I will never refer anyone to go to here because of the practice they have showed with this circumstance in just being out for money when it is their own staff’s fault and not mine. I've been to 15 doctors and 100+ therapy sessions over last 12 months. Dr. Lewis figured it out in 10 minutes. I took stacks of MRI's, no need my friend. I think he gives you 10 minutes or 15 max and if he can't figure it out no one can. Highly recommend, you will be in and out in a flash.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gideon J. Lewis for years, and always refer my friends, family, and professional athlete clients to him. His reputation in sports medicine is well-established and I feel extremely comfortable both being treated by him and making the referral to my clients.

I can not tell you guys enough how good I feel with this office. I went to another place and the care I got was awful, fractured ankle not cared for etc. Mr. Lewis listened to me, put together the time line and said "the past is done with, we can't change it. Lets start from scratch" issueing me a brace, insoles, a script for good shoes(btw go there, amazing service),physical therapy and a injection. Today is only day 1 and I regret going to a orthopedic and not going directly to him. I am so impressed with the staff and the doctor. I visited Dr. Gideon J Lewis' office a couple weeks ago for foot pain. The office is clean and inviting. I had less than 5 minutes of wait time. All office staff that I encountered were extremely courteous, helpful and seemed happy to be there. I had x-rays done and was consulted by both the nurse and Dr. Lewis. I was told to stop wearing flip-flops, never go barefooted again, encouraged to find better supportive shoes like the NAOT brand, was told I needed to purchase inserts from their office and take them to the Track Shack for well-fitted sneakers, as well as purchase a specially-made pain cream and apply it 4x a day. Dr. Lewis was nice enough, but after leaving the office I wondered why I didn't get more information about my foot pain or what the issue actually is. No one watched me walk, no one suggested to do any stretches, rolling, icing or anything. Nothing was even mentioned to me as a diagnosis of "plantar fasciitis" until I looked at the little Rx paper that I was to take to Track Shack that had it checked off. Dr Lewis has proven time and time again to be professional, caring and very knowledgeable . From the first time we had him help us with our daughter to when he helped my husband after an accident, he has continued to be our favorite physician.

I saw Dr. Lewis for the first time in December 2017, to get a second opinion on a non-union fracture of the 5th metatarsal in my left foot. Another doctor had performed surgery on it 6/2/17, after I broke it on 5/20/17, and the fracture showed no signs of healing. The first doctor wanted to remove this piece of bone and be done with it. Dr. Lewis recommended trying a bone stimulator first and if that didn't work we would then address the surgical options and stated that removing the bone should be the last resort. After conservative treatment failed to work the revision surgery was scheduled for 5/3/2018. It is now the end of July and at my last appointment Dr. Lewis said that the fracture is about 90% healed and there have been no additional complications. I'm so thankful to have found Dr. Lewis. Dr Lewis has been our family DR for over 35 years. My grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and refused treatment. Dr Lewis helped her understand the process of chemo. If there was a 6th star, there is no way I wouldn't check it! I had an amazing experience on my first visit. I'm super doctor picky and Dr. Gideon J Lewis exceeded my expectations as well as the entire staff. Dr. Lewis messaged me on FB on a SUNDAY and said he would make an appointment available at my convenience the following day, Monday! Well, that's exactly what happened. After sharing with him my challenges, I was given a 11:30 appointment. I walked right into a clean office with my paperwork already filled out. The office staff couldn't have been nicer and very thorough. There was NO wait! Well, maybe 5 mins. LOL. I think that was only do to the fact I was a new patient and the office needed to get my paperwork ready for Dr. Lewis. I was immediately seen by a very nice nurse... Fast forward 45 mins...I received X-rays, met with the doctor who was very personable, knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and I even felt like he genuinely wanted to get to know me as a "friend" not just a patient. He didn't want to just make my pain go right away, but was more concerned about figuring out the root not a quick fix. Dr. Lewis patiently answered all my questions and even told me to text him anytime! With a conservative plan of attack, I left the office with so much gratitude and respect! I've been a patient of Dr Lewis for quite a few years. He has treated me for ingrown toenails and plantar fasciitis. He and Nurse Kenya are friendly and professional and treat me with no pain. I went to see Dr Gideon Lewis because I was having painful planters Factious. First visit was great! They did X-rays and gave me a steroid shot in my right foot. I had a steroid shot in that foot by another doctor and almost passed out from the pain. The nurse assured me it wouldn’t hurt, I wasn’t believing her. I braced for the worst and then just a lot of pressure. No real pain, AMAZING! He prescribed me a special cream that works great and my foots doing great. The nurse said she would call me later in the week to see how I was doing and I have a doctors appointment in two weeks for a checkup. Unfortunately a health care system which I already despise now continues to look worse. Dr Lewis is a great doctor, and a very nice person. I've never had a single problem with him, I doubt anyone could. But his staff shows continuing signs of irritability and just poor health care. I had a prescription that was about to run out, scheduled the soonest appointment I could because they couldn't refill something I have taken for years with out an office visit, the soonest visit was 1 month away which would have me totally running out of my prescription which I need to take every day. So they couldn't refill something they acknowledged I would have adverse effects by stopping, and they couldn't see me in time to refill it. I had to spend hours trying to find a new primary care physician to see me quicker so I won't run out of something that is necessary for me to continue a normal life. Way to go health system for giving Dr's cronies the authority to make horrible decisions. A good friend of mine left years ago because of the same problems with staff, not the Dr. We both agreed Dr Lewis is awesome, he might be so awesome he employees the worse staff in Orlando. If I could this doctor and his terrible, incompetent staff a zero I certainly would. This doctor made me get painful injections my first visit only to find out after that there was a charge (even though I knew there would not be a charge for it). My follow up visit when I spoke to the condescending office manager who told me I should know my plan and it's deductibles (which I certainly do because I had already met all required deductibles) refunded me for the injections for meeting my deductible. It gets better. The doctor came in the exam room and stated "he is at a loss" and didn't know what was best to do next and said I needed an MRI but he knew Blue Cross and Blue Shield would not cover it. I stated that they would because my deductible was met and my other doctor had ordered one previously and only doctor authorization was needed. He stormed out of the room and an assistant came in with physical therapy orders. I immediately called another podiatrist who got me in very next day. The new podiatrist was wonderful and stated the injections are a last resort before surgery, not something that you have done on the first visit. RUN FAST FROM THIS DOCTOR AND HIS FATHER! I have seen both Dr. Gideon G Lewis and his son, Dr. Gideon J Lewis. When I was sick with bronchitis and then the stomach flu, Dr.Lewis' staff got me an appointment right away. I did not even wait 5 minutes when I got there. They took a thorough history and Dr. Lewis had me feeling better within days.
