Dr. Gersten Stein

Dr. Stein's bedside manner is above average. He is friendly, helpful, listens to what you are saying and knows what he is doing. I feel fortunate that my primary doctor recommended him. I recommend him to friends and family.

I was very disappointed in my visit with Dr. Stein, and felt like it was a complete waste of time and money. I had to pay a specialist fee to go and see him, but he spent hardly any time with me at all and didn't even examine my feet. Told me basically the same thing as my GP, probably Plantar Fasciitis. Not thorough, didn't even seem to really care. I also asked him about some specific shoes that several people with PF had recommended to me and he had never even heard of them.

Doctor Stein talked to me 5mn and had me leave out without even checking my feet and telling me there was no scientific method to check unequal limb length. I guess he didn't want to bother dealing with my HMO insurance, but why become a doctor then...

Dr Stein has been my Dr for approximately 4 yrs- his bedside manner has always been above average- he has always shown concern and compassion- My experience with Dr Stein has been 100% positive! I highly recommend him as being an excellent choice as a Doctor!

I've now been referred to Dr. Stein twice by my DO for two separate issues. I'm all about giving second chances as anyone can have a bad day. In my experiences, he has no time to even listen to figure out what is wrong, jumps to the easiest conclusion and tries to RUN out of the room. I had the audacity to ask two follow up questions which he reluctantly half-answered. Don't waste your time. He gave me a total of 4 minutes - less time than it takes to park your car and walk in the building.
