Gerhard Karl Kraske

I am in my late 70s and have not been happy with many previous physicians in part, I believe, because they don't seem to care as much because of my age. Dr. Kraske has been my primary physician for approximately 5 years and I not only think he is highly competent but he always seems happy to see me (something I have never experienced before perhaps because I have so many medical issues that require over a dozen prescription meds). Unlike previous physicians he doesn't make me see specialists constantly--he is so competent and experienced he almost always is confident of a diagnosis and treatment, although he doesn't hesitate to refer me to a specialist when he thinks it is appropriate.. Furthermore, when I have requested appointments with specialists he immediately picks up the phone and makes an appointment. He is definitely the best internist I have had out of a dozen or more.

Always timely and helps pt be modest. Discusses findings and advise and other questions honestly.

Dear Dr. Kraske - My Deer Tick Lesion has now broken into a red portion on one side and outlined with a blue look on the other side. I had a day where my mouth was so salty and the GERD has been horrible - the esophagus burns and it shoots up into my ears - both at the same time. I have a stuffy nose at night - both bottoms of my feet feel like I am walking on bones only with no padding - all scar tissue in me is sore - lesions still in the mouth - back where wisdom teeth used to be. Otherwise - peachy keen! Super busy with DEA - finding missing people and more. Big tornado storm last night - heading in the Wisconsin direction and more tonight I think. Sincerely, Ms. McTernan - your constant complainer in the Medicare List of which you don't take!

I've seen Dr. Kraske for probably 8 years now. He's friendly, knowledgeable, quick with a referral when needed, and makes it easier to navigate the world of healthcare.

Possibly a good man but a horrible doctor. If leaving no stars was an option that would have been my choice.

The Meriter Middleton is the best team of primary care staff I have seen around, and Dr. Kraske is just GREAT. He is a very cautious physician, but never restricts my activity. If I need an unscheduled appointment – it is next, or even the same day. And when I come, everything that planned to be done in month-two ahead would be done during the same appointment, bloodwork and other tests, vaccination, etc. ‘To save your time’ – usually you do not hear this at doctor’s office. And all recommendation and instructions absolutely clear and unequivocal, there is no “it’s up to you”. I have MY DOCTOR. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Kraske. We've found him to be very professional but easy to talk to. I especially like the way he listens intently to your drescription of your problem.
