Dr. Gerald G George

Dr George is truthful and great in explaining options, diagnosis and treatment plans. I refer to him as my mean doctor only because he refuses to allow continued degeneration of ones health. I was misdiagnosed by many prior to going under Dr. George's care. He's quick to get an overall treatment started that includes other doctors. He has never tried to restrain me from my own options, even when he knows I'll be back when the results don't work. I visit Dr. Gerald office on 12/28/2021 and the secretary at the front was very rude. I was asked by the Doctor to come in and complete my labs. The young lady at the desk stop me to see if I had a copayment and I ask her to schedule me an appointment to see Doctor George she then asked me in the opening what for I then stated I am having headaches I don’t know if it sinus or what. And after that I stated I need a referral to get an EKG she stated very rude that Dr. George do not give that go to the hospital. And then told me if you have something going on get out of this office and call and book my appointment. I called back to speak to the office manager Maggie no response back. They informed me she didn’t have a voice mail. I emailed Dr. George to make him aware of this bad behavior waiting on response. I been seeing this Doctor for over 9yrs and the last couple years this same lady has been so rude. I will be finding another practice for me and my Family. If I can give a 0 I would that’s how bad his front desk Customer Service. So I made a virtual appointment with the nurse to inform her what happened. I also filed a complaint with patient Advocate. We as people have to speak up so things can get better. They can’t fix it if they are not aware. Please make them aware of these behavior. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Didn't care how sick my wife was and told her to just suffer through it without antibiotics. Called my wife a liar over what she had going on even though there was documentation for proof.

The doctors here are great, they smile and have a general concern about the patient.

Office is always running late. When you make an appointment plan on sitting in the lobby for 30-45 min. 2nd visit for me 2nd time waiting. I was told to come back one day to obtain a fasting lab. Dr said I would be in and out, again waited 30 min. Dr is gruff not personable, talks down to you. I Will not be coming back to this man

Office prompt calls you back Dr George took time to explain all details of conditions like I was the only patient he had that day. I was very impressed. I have a upcoming surgery and he took more time explaining the surgery to me than my surgeon did. I would very much refer him to friends and family

I have been a patient here for years. I really like Dr. Robinson, but I can no longer deal with the office staff/call center run around. It's always been a hassle, but today was the last straw. I've called to ask for a Rx refill, been told I will be contacted when it was ready and never contacted again. When I call in I find out that my Doctor denied it the same day I called because I needed a checkup first. I find out 2 weeks later when I call and ask what's going on. So I try to make an appointment. Doctor is out on vacation all next week and my Rx is almost out. So I make and appointment with the OTHER doctor at the office. When I drive in and go to check in I am told that Dr. George doesn't treat the condition I'm here about. When I pointed out that is what I called to make it for the office staff just said 'Oh well, that was the call center not us.' So. Again. I loved my Doctor, but I refuse to have a giant corporate call center standing in between me and being able to communicate with her. I have been a patient here for years.
