Dr. Gerald Wayne Englund

He delivered my grand daughter 16 years ago her mother was17 he was very nice doctor he even called her and her brother iris twins cause her brother born in January and she was born in dec the same year but I've been reading the comments was going to use him again

Dr Englund was great, knew what he was doing and took the time to talk with me, he was very compassionate in regards to the pain I was in and wasted no time getting it taken care off.

Horrible Dr..... Do NOT go there. I was scheduled for a hysterectomy to remove a ovary that "looked like a large cluster of grapes" according to him, which caused horrible pain. The surgery was set for 2 weeks. I woke up from surgery to find out he had removed my tubes, uterus and cervix which was NOT supposed to happen. When I questioned him he said well your ovary was fine. I said what about the fact that 2 weeks ago it was a large cluster of grapes. He said it may come back. I said then why didn't u take it?? He looked at me and said let me ask you a question, "have you had to run out and buy any tampons or pads, well, your welcome!!" worst bedside manner ever!! And by the way, I still have horrible cramps.

NO STARS!! Dr. Englund delivered my son and I wish I had not picked his as my OB. Just about every time we had a visit he would make a comment about how I wasn't married to my son's father. At one point he even asked if we were raising our "little ring bearer" and when I said no we are not getting married he gave a disapproving look. worst Dr. ever!!!!

Well he was great til my last appointment when I was pregnant and I told him something was wrong. I ended up with a bad infection and I had my daughter 6hrs. Later. I was having so much trouble after I had her ovarian cysts,and endometriosis was all back full force. So it had been a year since I had her, so at age 24 I was going in for an emergency hysterectomy. Do yall wanna know what he told my mother who was there with me? We I think everything went fine except for that right ovary I had to rip and tear @it. Leaving pieces in me that kept trying to regrow. So a couple days after surgery I was in so much pain I had a growth after a couple days he washed his hands of me and passed me on to a general surgeon. Who thanks to this dawn Dr. I had to go through like 8 more surgeries. I give 0

He performed my hysterectomy in June. I was told to call his office with any questions or concerns. I have had a rough time since a few days after surgery. I called his office at least once a day for 2 wks with no return call! At my 2 wk follow up, I expressed my irritation of no receiving a call back (while bawling my eyes out the entire hour and a half I was in there) to the nurse who tells me "we are short staffed and haven't had time to answer phones or call back. When I expressed that it wasn't good Healthcare, she said "I don't know what else to tell you." As Dr. Englund came in to examine me, I told him all of my symptoms (menopausal symptoms). He told me that because I kept my ovaries, my hormones were fine! He made it out like my symptoms were due to home life! He and his nurses habe the worst patient care manners I've ever been in contact with and I will NEVER go back to him OR recommend anyone to see him!

I have known him 10 plus years. I now have my daughter seeing him. When I had cancer and he was with Dr Chowdry, Sloan and Dugger although he wasnt my primary. He came to see I was ok in the hospital. He has a certain demeanour but you have to understand. He is very intelligent as well as there when you dont even know you need him.

I have used Dr. Englund for over 20 years. He delivered 3 of my children, comforted us through the loss of 2 babies and also did my hysterectomy. He has always been a great Dr. for me.

He made snide remarks when I said I didn't want on BC because of acne and weight gain. He told me "Well looks like I'll be seeing you in a couple months and you can gain 40 more pounds with the next one" Bashing how much I have gained this pregnancy. Then made the remark that "His birth control doesn't have calories, I suggest you just stay away from the buffet" If you are looking for an OB, stay far away from this one. He doesn't listen to any concerns, he makes inappropriate remarks. He is extremely disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

No bed side manner. He delivered my daughter due to my doctor being out of town and was so rude. He is very c section happy as well.

HORRIBLE. First time meeting him, he dismissed everything I was going through and didnt listen to anything I said. I was 20 weeks pregnant struggling with SPD, which was painful and I could barely walk, he said I was complaining too much. Didnt even ask for my history, which I was high risk. He belittled everything I said. I will NEVER go to him again. If you look up other review places, he has terrible reviews, all for the same thing. HORRIBLE. If I could give 0 stars I would. He delivered my daughter due to my doctor being at of town when I went into labor. He was saying inappropriate comments to my birthing team, and myself throughout the birth. He is a very odd and unprofessional doctor. I would not recommend him to anyone. Worse doctor experience of my life.

Dr. Englund was great at first, but when we had issues with a very high risk pregnancy he blew us off and let me go through a very traumatic experience with no compassion whatsoever! He does not value life inside or outside of the womb. He has horrible bedside manner and said hurtful and rude things that made the miscarriage we went through much more traumatic. Zero stars. I had to give birth to my baby after she had passed away. He was not my doctor for my pregnancy but happened to be on call at the hospital. He had zero compassion and said rude things each time he came in the room, belittling what I was going through. I lost a child and would have appreciated if he could have done his job without making snide remarks of whether my child was even planned or not. As if that would have made a difference. Dr.Englund delivered my son 27 years ago I was very young and very scared he was great and very compassionate .This time I met up with him he got the privelidge of giving me a hysterectomy. He was the same as he was then always smiling ,very knoledgable and kind .I had very little pain and thankful for him

This was by far the worst doctor I've ever had do an examination during pregnancy. I could handle his rude comments, but simply walking in with a young man without informing me during a pap smear was not only unprofessional, but simply not how it is done. Any doctor with a trainee is actually supposed to ask your permission. I plan on complaining and sincerely hope no one else is subjected to his crude jokes or lack of respect for people

I had the unfortunate experience of meeting him in an emergency situation as the ER doctor on call. I had just found out I was pregnant and was bleeding heavily. I did lose the baby. Dr. Englund asked is I wanted the baby. Of course I was devastated. He has the worst bedside manner. Treated me and my husband as if we were trash beneath his feet. His followup appointment was worse and acted like I was a science experiment to his student doctor. I would give 0 stars if possible.

I would recommend this doctor to anyone! He is great. He is very busy, because he has a lot of patients. He was very gentle and has a sense of humor. The hospital staff at Freeman were excellent during the whole process! I had a repeat c-section and it just looks amazing compared to my first.

Absolutely amazing hubby and I was so comfortable Dr. Englund made us feel like we was family the staff was amazing his attitude was even better he did everything with a smile and i couldnt ask for a better experience. I highly recommend Dr Englund for all your OBGYN women health needs wow i am so highly satisfied. God Bless

If i could give 0 stars. He was on call and didnt come in until i was dialated to a 6. Was there for a short time, told me that if i didnt deliver in 2 hours, we we're going to do a c section. Acted like i was a waste of his time. I was determined to do a natural birth and he pretty much laughed in my face and at my birth plans then THREW THEM AWAY. He was rude to me and my family. Was not gentle whatsoever, told me we couldnt do anything i had planned. HE RUINED MY FIRST EXPIRIENCE DELIVERING!

Doctor England saw me in the ER and then again in his office. He was very compassionate and thorough. He explained everything to me. Very nice man.

Awesomeness!

Dr. Englund was on call when I went into labor and he was in such a hurry to deliver my daughter and get out that, he completely disrespected our wishes to delay the cord clamping. When we told him, he looked at us, proceeded to clamp and cut the cord and ask what for? I will never recommend a doctor who feels like he has the final say. Next time I'm in labor, if he is on call, I'll just have my husband deliver our child! Doctors nowadays can't be trusted for even the slightest things!
