I had an episode of a-fib a number of years ago. I was admitted to Beebe hospital through the emergency room. The physician that saw me in the E.R. called in Dr. George Dahr. I had never met Dr. Dahr before but he immediately put me at ease. After tests and evaluation by this TERRIFIC physician, I was placed on a medication that has controlled this irregular beat. Since that time, I have seen this physician every 6 months for a check up. He has also performed a stress test and I had a monitor I wore for about a week that recorded my heart beats. I am a retired registered nurse from Md. and I worked many years for the Md. Institute for Emergency Medical Systems. I worked with many physicians during that time. They were ALL very caring and took wonderful care of the patients that were very ill at the time. It is exactly how Dr. Dahr treats his patients!! He is a TERRIFIC physician-explains everything and CARES for all he sees. I am blessed to have him care for me and he has kept me well!! I am 80 years old now and a lot of my good health is due to Dr. Dahr!! I thank him for being the person and physician that he is. Gratefully, Patricia Wagner-Retired R.N.
Very knowledgeable, however lacks current technology skills i.e. returning e-mails on the portal/does not provide a visit summary, simply rushes off to the next patient. Leaves the country without informing patients; not dependable. Vast turnover of office staff including doctors. This is a warning sign. When I expressed that I would like a second opinion, he angered and retaliated. No longer have anything to do with this practice. If it were possible to rank below zero, I would. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Dahr is not clear in explaining any problems or reviewing medical history. Perhaps, it is because he is always in a rush and appears to be interested in moving to the next appointment.
He is a ok doctor but fails to inform you of your diagnosis. I have congested heart failure and he didn't let me know. I found it out by another heart doctor. He is not very friendly and has a poor bedside manner.

I am a retired Registered Nurse and Dr. Dahr is my cardiologist. There is NO ONE that I would rather have as my care provider. He is a brilliant and compassionate physician. I have worked in the coronary care unit, emergency room, and trauma care. Dr. Dahr is a five star physician and I would highly recommend him. I am blessed to have Dr. Dahr caring for me.
