Love this doctor. This was my second injury and he has taken good care of me with both injuries. Never have and problems. I will always go to him if needed.

Was seen by him after a motorcycle wreck.. after 6 months of PT and seeing Dr I went to see dr McElroy (spelling) and found out I had a meniscus tear and a ACL tear.. I had asked for surgery from the beginning but takoti refused as unnecessary.. 3 knee surgeries later, a new acl installed I find out my knee is ate up with osteoarthritis because I walked on a knee with a 80% acl tear…. We had a follow up after my 3 year old dislocated her elbow. It was corrected at the ER but the radiology report said follow up needed because there was a possible fracture on her growth plate but needed more imaging/angles. After waiting approximately an hour in the waiting room with a 3 year old, we were brought back to the room where I discussed with the nurse the reason for our visit. I was told they would be repeating an X-ray. A while later Dr. Tokodi came in. He came in and seemed surprised her elbow was already back in place. This was 3 days after her injury. He asked if it was hurting her or if she was having any difficulties. After telling him no that she appears fine with it, we were just there to make sure there wasn’t a fracture. He proceeded to tell me she was fine and we could go. At one point he did touch her arm for a few seconds. She said it didn’t hurt and he let go. I then asked “Are we not concerned about a possible fracture?” He said “No.” then got up and started heading to the door. He was nice about everything but was in the room for about 2 minutes. We have a second follow up with WVU scheduled. I was referred/recommended to First Settlement Ortho, by a friend who likes Dr. Ada and has had no issues. I left disappointed and concerned that if there is a fracture she could have problems later on if there is no intervention. I will not return here. Dr. Tokodi has been my doctor 16 years. He has always been patient and supportive during our office visits. And he’s a fantastic surgeon. He’s operated on both of my shoulders and one knee. All of the surgeries were successful. I feel very blessed to have him as my doctor.

Dr Tokodi did a wonderful job on my hip replacement. Minimal pain and healed quickly

Absolutely he does a wonderful job!

very professional, no pressure, no bs, told me what i needed and made it happen

Dr. Tokodi agreed to take my case from the emergency room when the ER doctors wanted to transfer me out to another hospital. Surgery was completed next day. Everything went well! Very appreciative of care I received!

Explanation of problem was good. Went over options in detail. Felt comfortable with everything.

The staff is sweet and nice no matter the reason for them to see you and they don't look down on you.....

Dr Tokodi and his staff are very professional and friendly. The doctor explains everything very well. I’ve been a patient of his at least 12 years. He takes very good care of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.

Perhaps the worst doctor I have seen. Ever. He spent no more than 5 minutes with me and charged my insurance $850. He provided no guidance and missed some large red flags regarding my condition. There is no way I would ever trust this doctor for any type of surgery let alone an office visit.

This doctor srewed my legs up so bad, after a double knee replacement that now after 2 years of major pain and hardly cannot walk anymore, and then he decided to drop me as a patient....
