I can't say I was treated with respect when I called to set an appointment. Was RUDELY told my son is now too old to be seen. Ok. Recommendations for another dentist? Nope. And now reading these reviews from others? I'm worried about the state of my son's teeth from past visits.

I just called this morning, May 31st. Trying to set up an appointment for my children this summer before they have to go back to school. I was told there's no available appointments until August 15th! That is absolutely ridiculous. The whole point is to be able to get your children in during the summer so they can go back to school without missing more days during the school year. I don't believe for a second that they're completely booked for the next 2 months. I thought this was a good dental office, I guess I was mistaken. My children will never return there. He would hit me on my chest and say stop fussing and say open your mouth when my face was swollen.????????

I wouldn't even give him a star if it were possible. He traumatized me as a child. He would smack my face during procedures while I was crying. I never let my children go to the dentist unattended due to the care I received as a child. I also have to be sedated during my work now due to the trauma he caused me.

This man thought it was a good idea to sedate a 3 year old little girl to fill a cavity. Her jaw was baseball size swollen for 4 days, bleeding and in pain. Waking up at night screaming and crying every 2-3 hours. We are now on day 6, took her to walk-in doctor yesterday where they had to give her a shot of antibiotics that caused her even more pain. She is still waking up at night crying from the pain. This has been a disaster and torturous for her. Her mouth is so sore she hasn't been able to brush her teeth this whole time. Her jaw is infected and he sent her home with no antibiotics and no pain medicine, nothing. Called the day after her procedure and doctor said it's normal, she will be fine in a couple days. Lies. This has been a nightmare and all for a few bucks. Her tooth was not causing her any pain what so ever. Protect your child and find a dentist that cares more about the patient then a dollar. Do not trust him with your child, he only sees them as dollar signs. Seriously thinking about suing this man for what he has done to this sweet little girl.. Seemed like a sweet dentist, and made my daughter's first check-up much less of a cry fest than it could have been. However, if he refers you to his son for surgery or anything, RUN He seems to care little for his patients or their family's concerns, and doesn't even seem to do a good job at the surgery part either. I have already written a review of him, Dr. Brian Short, but as long as you're just going in for check ups with Dr. George Short, we had a pleasant experience. All of my children had bad experiences with Dr. Short. He missed cavities that he didn’t see on the x-ray until they were so large they needed root canals. I’ve hear horror stories like ours from many others and other dental offices

Me and my children love this dentist office and the dentist himself. They are such nice and professional people. They are quick, call the kids back and get them right in and out. Highly suggested.

I have 4 children and have been taking them to Dr. Short for the last 6 or 7 years, he is the only dentist we use because I have been so pleased with he and his staff.

Super amazing with children's awesome bedside manner

Dr. Shorts is an amazing dentist he was my childhood dentist which I was scared to go to the dentist and there for it was hard to work done which I was terrified of the dentist for year's and now I am now an adult and I am not scared to go to the dentist anymore . I have found a good dentist in my home town of Parsons and I have been getting the work done on my teeth that needs to be done such as Root canals and crowns fillings with no fear and I own that to ny current dentist but also to Dr. Short's I hope he be would be proud of me and I just posted to let him know this And thank him . So if you ask me if I recommend Dr. Shorts my answer would be Yes 100% a Yes. He was my doctor when I was little and now he is my kids doctor. He is great! I've called about something happening to my daughter and he had us come right in. We showed up one day and they just locked the doors they opened them to see what was wrong and we were seen right then. My kids have other health problems and they even call their doctors tooffice make sure he can use certain things on them. Him and his son are the best in my book!

I been with Dr. Short for almost 6 years he is great with my son ?

I explained weeks earlier that the child was autistic and would probably not cooperate and would need to be sedated. They quickly decided to forgo any x-rays (wth!) and did a cursory exam with a light and mirror, dabbed a swab with a little fluoride on his front teeth and pronounced him cavity free. I drove an hour and a half one way with an autistic 5 year old and a 3 yr. old for THAT? My family dentist could have done it for half the cost and a 15 minute drive. Wasted day
