It was slightly alarming to open mail address to me and see that it was another patient's private information. I called the office to voice my concern and received a call back today. They didn't seem to be too surprised by their mistake and asked me to just dispose of the papers and fill the packet out anyway. On the front, it is written in yellow highlighter Dr. Kile. Now let's say just for the sake of argument, I went ahead and filled out these documents.. Wouldn't they also be miss directed? I had read the reviews but thought I would meet with Dr. Picetti and see if I felt comfortable with him and his office . Now I will be asking to be referred to someone else.

He literally saved my life! I had such a difficult case and I can’t even tell you, what a relief it is! He’s a miracle worker and a nice person!

I understand he's a decent surgeon unlike his friend and colleague Dr. Gary Schneiderman, who put the OP1 product in my lumbar spine and called that a re-fusion (see attached pics). In need of another back surgery with a severe bilateral disc bulge and a mess called OP1 put in my back as a re-fusion (see attached pics) I was sent to Dr. Picetti by the Work Comp carrier CIGA. After many tests which showed that the surgery was necessary and his long time assistant stating that I need a surgery I finally saw Dr. Picetti. I finally had a chance to discuss the OP1 mess in my lumbar spine with him, so I thought. Dr. Picetti went over the tests with me and stated 'a surgery is medically necessary'. Then it came to the OP1 issue and Dr. Picetti would not discuss it or even request new images. I insisted, then he angerly stated that the OP1 was a solid fusion and left the room. When the final report was done and Dr. Picetti states that the surgery would not help and no mention of the OP1. Come to find out that the surgeon who put the OP1 in my back is his friend and colleague Dr. Gary Schneiderman. The reason he stated different from what the tests show is because CIGA didn't want to pay for another surgery or have the OP1 addressed and had Dr. Picetti assist with that. The next surgeon I saw, with private insurance, rushed me into surgery. See attached pic of the OP1. That's just my opinion. **Warning Regarding C.I.G.A (California Insurance Guarantee Association)** This is not being written because I am a disgruntle injured worker. This is being written because I have lived this FRAUD and disgusting treatment for many years now and have documents to prove it. To injured workers that are being treated by CIGA beware. CIGA is a State ran entity NOT an insurance company. They are NOT held accountable for FRAUD or many other violations that insurance companies are. The Work Comp Appeals board Audit Unit, the State Department of Insurance or a judge can not fine or hold them accountable for anything they do wrong and CIGA does a lot wrong. See attached letters from WCAB Audit Unit and Dept of Ins stating "....has no jurisdiction over this matter...." For Example: CIGA withholds doctor reports and tests from QME's, AME's and other doctors. They do this to get reports in their favor so they can withhold payments and or not provide treatment. CIGA does not authorize treatments that have been Certify by the UR Department or IMR. CIGA reduces or does not authorize medications, without reason, even after Certify by the UR Department. CIGA has made false statements (lies) at AME depositions to have the AME make decisions favoring them. CIGA has radiologists doing MRI's & CT's falsify the test to show no issue so they don't have to pay for treatment. This has been done with EMG test as well to avoid paying for a surgery. Prior and Post MRI, CT and EMG tests show the complete opposite of what these doctors show. CIGA has many doctors and surgeons on there payroll and these doctors and surgeons will write reports based on what CIGA asks them to write NOT based on what tests show. Again CIGA is a State entity and is NOT held accountable for the FRAUD and violations that a real Work Comp carrier would be. Another failed California creation. That's just my opinion. Dr Picetti did my spine surgery-fusion/ decompression in 2015. I had many issues and not being able to walk for any length of time or get up from the couch. Thanks to him I am able to do so many things I couldn’t. Here it is 6 years later and I’m still doing great! He is an amazing surgeon!!

Dr. Picetti saved my life, and enabled me to walk again.

My son waited so long enough to see this Doc Picetti, referral came from ORTHO. 1 day prior to appt, his office called that the Doc will not see my son and that he was assigned to a PA. Had we known, we could have NOT waited for so long. Very very frustrating.

Dr. Picetti gave me the ability to walk once again. I could not even stand for short. Of time before my spinal surgery. Life for me was unbearable and very very painful. I never thought I would walk again or be able to stand and sit for period of time, but now thanks to dr. Picetti and his staff I could do it once more. It was a hard Road but I can do it now!! I would pray constantly for Jesus to take away my pain , take me to heaven before my surgery. But now now I thank my Lord Jesus for the skills, compassion, and knowledge dr. Picetti has shown me. Dr. Pecetti performed a complex scoliosis surgery on me in 2012. Many doctors refused to do the surgery, but Dr. Pecetti took my case. The 9 hour surgery led to a difficult recovery, which was no surprise. The results were outstanding! My pain lever decreased dramatically. My spine was straight and has remained straight. Don't use this surgeon stay away he is a big phoney. This guy wouldn't even admit me into the hospital when I couldn't walk n would scream when I'd move. After seeking another surgeon I had 3 broken rods n a staff infection in my back. The new surgeon had to take everything out n put new in which were all my virtabres.and informed me that Dr. Picetti had put the wrong material in my back. He used child material instead of adult. To this day I still can barely walk or stand thanks to the quack

My thorasic CT scan was sent to Dr. Picetti by my primary care doctor for review/recommendation. It had already been noted there was severe stenosis between the T9-T10. He and his office staff never called me or my PC doctor. After awhile I called. I was told "the stenosis was an incidental finding and we don't need to see you." My PC doc referred me to another neurosurgeon in the Sutter Health network and after review they admitted my condition was beyond them and referred me to UCSF. Stay away

What an amazing Surgeon. Dr. Picetti was kind, caring, compassionate. The spinal fusion he performed on my took away ALL pre-surgical pain....I feel like I have a second lease on life as it relates to my back and the pain I had before surgery!!! I would recommend him to anyone that requires spinal surgery!

My dad met with George D. Picetti's office for a final pre-op to cover details, my dad simply asked Dr. Picetti if he could please call his primary doctor to discuss with him a few medical details..Dr Picetti yelled at my father and said he was the professional and would not make the call and since my father didn't trust his opinion he would now Not perform the surgery, my dad pleaded with him not to cancel his well overdue surgery, after insulting my dad the Dr canceled and dad starts all over

The surgery I received , I feel saved my life , I know I need more , but what I could get authorization for was supposed to be a 3 hr surgery , this great surgeon stayed in there another 3 hrs , to compleat the surgery , due to severity of my deranged back . Thank god for this surgeon , and sutter general , I had to wait 5 years to get authorization for this surgery , fighting workmans comp , finally I have enough of my life back , that I feel I'm going to make it .thank you dr George peccitti .
