As for the Dr. Mimari, I had a great experience w the over all visits, procedure n recovery. But his receptionist Yvonne not so much I have called many time trying to get my leave paperwork done . And did what they ask of me on how to send it , so it can get filled out and done . But when I call it's just like o yea we have it but it's not done . I called once in the morning and once toward the end of the day just to see when I could get it back due to the fact I have a time limit to retrieve it back to my work. Not once did she mention that he would not be in the office till later that week until Wednesday. This I understand so if she would have communicated that to me I would have waited till Thursday to call. So when I did call to see if it could be done today , she just chuckled and said possibly. I have 4 daughters that I have to provide for, And I am just trying to get things done n situated to get me back in my feet . I don't find anything funny about it . That she would think it's funny to laugh at my struggles. it upsets me very much that she would even laugh sarcastically n tell me possibly AS IF MAYBE , MAYBE NOT. If she could not handle or take care of the situation, then please send me to some one who cares and can help me with the situation. Because I don't see anything funny about this whole situation. had gallbladder surgery last year. he was quick to tell me how good he was. long story short. had horrific pain after surgery. when i went back to see them basically told me that it couldn't be him cause he does 1000's of these. after further pain....sent me for CT scan. turns out had hernia due to procedure. Said not to worry it would be easy fix.....easy as in another surgery, more thousands in co pay to pay out..so I went to 2nd surgeon for another opinion...this surgeon said he stopped using the Davinci robot that mimari uses due to the fact it gives patients hernias at incision site. this info was never given to me prior so i could've made a decision if i wanted to risk that complication. Dr. Damon Mimari, MD with the assistance of his father Dr. George Mimari, MD saved my husband's life. If it wasn't for both of these Surgeons, my husband would not be here now. The staff is wonderful.

I love the treatment you get as soon as you walk in the office. Great service and the best doctors.

I had gallbladder removal surgery with Dr. Damon Mimari in 2010 or 2011 and as of now (May 2019) I still haven't had any major complications. Great doctor and very personable.

I can tell Dr Mimari is a very compassionate doctor. My husband just had surgery, and everything went smoothly. Dr Mimari let me know everything to expect, and I am very pleased he was my husband’s surgeon. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr Mimari is a very compassionate surgeon. He has been my surgeon for the past 4 years which is a true blessing. I have never had a time when he did not call me back or take care of me as needed in the hospital! His office staff has always been so professional and attentive. Absolutely incompetent staff, doesn't return phone calls, does not care about the patients. The person who answers the phone can't even see the schedule so they won't be able to make an appointment for you or even tell you when an opening is. They will tell you someone will contact you back but then they never call. I have never experienced such an utterly ridiculous and frustrating doctors office in my life. If I can't even get someone to call me back to make an appointment I cannot imagine the difficulty that it would be if I needed to speak to the doctor after an operation. Keep searching elsewhere, there are far too many doctors in this city who have staff that are not completely worthless. Dr. Mimari did a Nissen Fundoplication March 31, 2015 to correct my severe reflux. He explained in detail PRIOR to the surgery all of the risks and benefits associated with the surgery. I felt very comfortable with him and the procedure without question. This was a life changing surgery for me as so much has changed for the better. I would and HAVE recommended him to others. He is the one that teaches the other doctors how to do this procedure and fully understand it. GREAT Bedside manner!!!!
