Sincere care spending his time asking questions and giving explanations and advice. A doctor that focused on me and not his computer. Highly recommend.

He made some good jokes, and was attentative to my problem. Was very helpful getting process started.

Staff was very professional and skilled. Doctor updated me on my symptoms and referred the results to Dr Charles Parise.

The consultation was (as usual) simple, thoughtful and directly to the point. Dr. Konugres reviewed recent events in my medical history and as a consequence of his findings he recommended changes to my medications. Dr. Konugres has been my cardiologist for many years now. I trust him as a healthcare provider and respect him as a person.

Pacific Cardiovascular Associates (PCA) were very helpful to setup appointments and get information that is needed. The staff handling the EKG and later the stress echocardiogram were polite and friendly and made the visit for my mom very easy. When Dr. Konugres came to visit, it was brief, but he explained the results and since there were no issues, he said we were good to go. Definitely a pleasant visit.

Let’s say that since 1995 Dr. Konugres is my favorite and only cardiologist, during this time I met many different cardiologists among my relatives and friends who encouraged me to change my cardiovascular treatments with them but I never wanted to loose a perfect relationship that I made with Dr. Konugres during all these years. Dr. Konugres have not only great experience in cardio diseases but a very close and friendly relationship with his patients, he knows every patient’s needs and always listens carefully to them. He follows patient’s requests and always stand with them as a close friend. I recommend this knowledgeable person in his field and a great being in our society. I wish he could have more time to accept more and sooner appointments. The staff are very friendly and helpful all the time but I wish PCA could provide an email line for their patient’s benefit of easier contact their doctors. Direct email eliminates time wasting on phone to get unusable answers.

Doctor K is awesome. Great bedside manner. Put me at ease. However it would have been nice to spell my name correctly i.e. Vicki and not Vivki when asking for my review.

I’ve been with Dr. George Konugres for well over 2 years, since I’ve had the heart attack. Excellent Cardiologist. Very personable with me answering all questions and kept me well informed about my medication. Staff also very accommodating. Dr. George Konugres is highly recommended.

I met Dr. Konugres while in the hospital, several times. My previous cardiologist retired and I was so happy I was accepted as a new patient of Dr. Konugres! He is a joy to work with on my health. He’s understanding, listens to my concerns and solves my issues or leads me to someone who can help me! Not going to lie, I don’t always like going to any Dr., because I’m afraid sometimes, but this Dr. always makes me at ease and is down to earth and very pleasant! I really lucked out.

Felt very safe with exemplary covid practices carried out in PCA office. Echocardiogram was performed by Susan who continued with safety measures and nurturing reassurance. Masks were required. I took my 92 year old uncle to see Dr. Konugres yesterday. The check-in staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time approximately 15 min. The medical assistant performed a resting EKG, weight, BP and was super nice, talked loud enough for my hearing impaired uncle to hear! lol Dr. Konugres was very thorough-he reviewed the prior hospital records, explained the diagnosis and treatment options clearly to me. We spent quite a bit of time discussing medications to stabilize my uncle's vitals. Dr. Knugres is one of my favorite doctors! He is very caring, and thorough and definitely makes you feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend him.

Let’s say that since 1995 Dr. Konugres is my favorite and only cardiologist, during this time I met many different cardiologists among my family and friends who encouraged me to change my cardiovascular treatments with them but I never wanted to loose a perfect relationship that I made with Dr. Konugres during all these years. Dr. Konugres have not only great experience in cardio diseases but a very close and friendly relationship with his patients, he knows every patient’s needs and always listens carefully to them. I wish he could have more time to accept faster appointments, the staff are very friendly and helpful all the time but I wish PCA could provide an email line for their patient’s benefit of easier contact their doctors (as I experienced in UCLA’s affiliated doctors), an email address will provide direct contact to get quick answers with no need to spend time with “old fashion” telephone system that keep patients on line for hour without getting a useful answer. Dr K is my favorite doctor I’ve ever had. He is absolutely direct, but clearly he can read his patients so well, he uses the appropriate amount of directness and humor as you can take. I love this guy. Ive been with him for 8 years and he single handedly motivated me to quit drinking regardless of how much back pain I was in. If you need serious help with heart and related problems, please go see him. There’s no way you would ever have a bad experience. He has changed my life and fixed my broken heart! He’s an excellent doctor. I really like him very much. It was very helpful and understanding from what he was telling me. He overlooked the reports from the hospital that I had an ER visit with them. Also, he ordered a prescriptions for my heart palpitations. I’m very grateful to have him as my cardiologist. I would visit him again.

I was very disappointed with him with my first office visit. His staff was behind the times with types of diets and holistic practices. Didn't understand my autoimmune disease, skipped important health information, and frankly was not impressed. He ranted about naturopathic doctors and how they are quacks. He also refused to look at the whole person instead of just one issue. Often one issue is tied to others. I didn't feel like he understood me and how I wished to approach my health issues. I left feeling angry and frustrated.

The staff seemed out of touch with common diets, i.e. Paleo, etc. I was frustrated with the whole appointment starting with the nurse who didn't understand or know basic things. I believe he knows his niche, but he refuses to look beyond his niche to see how other body systems or diseases affect the symptoms being seen in the heart. His disdain for other specialists including naturapathic doctors is very concerning, but to be expected from a mainstream doctor focused on one thing. I didn't feel heard or understood at all.

Dr Konugres is an excellent practitioner. I highly recommend him.

After reviewing my in office results Dr. Konugres took times to ask key questions about my medical history. He also took time to review the results from my emergency room visit results from November 2019. Knowing how busy Dr. Konugres was he made me feel my health was important and wanted my life to get back to normal.

Prompt, courteous reception. Dr Konugres took time to review my EKG and fully explained what was happening. Easy conversational manner with good information. I consider myself lucky to be referred to him by my PCP.

A direct quote from my mother: "He treated me like I was a m o r o n." Mom has expressive aphasia from a recent stroke. She is sometimes difficult to understand, but you don't berate or demean an 80 year old patient. And, Dr. Konugres, had you bothered to look at the paperwork in her hands you would have known why she was there.

When I took my husband because he had a heart and stress condition, this doctor didn't take it seriously. If he had wanted, he could have done a stress test the next day for my husband, instead of making him wait a week to take it.
