George Kartalian, Jr.

He was more interested in getting me out the door than he was in diagnosing me. He said several times about how the average patient needs X and Y treatments, so he decided I was simply average. When I told him we were done and I was leaving, he then spoke down to me. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He may be talented, but I'll never know. He couldn't be bothered to spend the time to demonstrate that.

Listened attentively. Gave solutions for solving the problems.

I saw Dr. Kartalian for my ankle. I got an appointment easily. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. His assistant, Sam, was efficient and helpful. The doctor did a great job explaining what was wrong and worked out a reasonable treatment plan for me. I will return for myself and definitely recommend him to others.

I was able to schedule appointment for the next day. Staff was accommodating. Doctor and PA were great at listening and providing me with answers.

Dr. Kartalian is an outstanding Orthopedic Doctor! I arrived with a severely fractured foot and he was able to waste no time in doing miraculous work which had me back to work in record time... Because of his superior work and gifted hands, This doctor, with the use of some hardware, was able to reconstruct my foot. I also will add that he has the "BEST" bedside manor and never, is in a rush. Simply put, Dr. Kartalian is a "Rock Star".

Dr. K is wonderful! He is very professional, courteous, and personable. I have been to him on two “emergency” type occasions and he was on top of both my situations. I have also been a long-time patient of Dr. Miller, I highly recommend all Old Town Orthopedic doctors. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my orthopedic needs!

My neighbor, myself and now my wife are all patients of Dr. Kartalian. The Doctor has a terrific bedside manor and has treated me well through surgery and recovery.

I have been seeing Dr. Kartalian every 3 months for over 5 years to receive shots in my foot, for arthritis pain. The shots stopped working and surgery was a must. He used the newest equipment and technology on me, With 6 days out of surgery, I have very little pain. If you want an honest doctor with compassion he's your guy! Don't expect miracles over night. You must be realistic, listen to what he's telling you, and follow his instructions. Dr, K is the best! Plus is PA Tory is awesome!

Dr Kartalian has an excellent customer connection, he listens and provides clear, accurate information about your situation. I highly recommend.

I was extremely disappointed with my office visit. Dr. Kartalian BARELY examined my foot and then diagnosed it as Metararsal Stress Fracture. I had knee replacement surgery and now have nerve damage on the bottom of my foot. i thought as a specialist, he would have given me a more thorough examination. I'm so tired of these doctors who send you for so many tests, I would not recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Kartalian a few years ago by a colleague, He's now performed two surgeries on my feet and my experiences with him and his team have been absolutely excellent. He's knowledgeable, efficient, sensitive and professional - I enthusiastically recommend him.

Dr. Kartalian and his staff are some of the best doctors I've ever been too. I had a pretty bad ankle injury and he and his staff took the time to explain exactly what would be done to fix my ankle and what to expect during and after surgery. It's been a long road to recover but I'm walking without a hitch and expect to be running again soon. Can't say enough great things about them!

I was very impressed with the care and time that Dr. Kartalian spent explaining what was actually wrong with my foot and how I can learn to manage it without surgery. I had previously gone to a podiatrist (who wanted to operate), so I went to Dr. Kartalian for a second opinion. From now on, I will be going to Dr. Kartalian, whose judgment I can trust. Even though my appointment was just yesterday, I have already recommended Dr. Kartalian to another family member. Thank you so much!

I recently had foot surgery, Dr. Kartalian was great, pre and post surgery. He was kind, gentle and explained everything so I understood and knew what was going on. Would highly recommend him and TCO.

Highly Recommend Dr. Kartalian for foot injuries. He is extremely knowledgeable as well as personable. I was very confident having him perform my surgery. (I had a fractured foot on top of wear and tear from years of high heels) I saw Dr. Kartalian in March 2014 after I had broken my foot. He & his staff educated me on my options. Upon my decision to have surgery the TCO staff took the time to have my procedure preauthorized and was able to work with my schedule.

I have been a patient of Dr. K's for years. He is always friendly, informative and understanding. He states what he thinks the issue is and really leans on me, as a patient, do decide what I want to do next. I don't trust anyone else for my ankles but him!

Dr Kartalian has taken care of my feet and knees for over 15 years. I could not be more pleased or recommend him more. I refer everyone I know. They are the best.

I have been very pleased with the treatment I have received. I would more then recommend Dr. K for any foot problems. He has done wonders with my foot and has been able to repair a totally destroyed foot. He also has a wonderful sense of humor that my wife and I have enjoyed. Dr. Kartalian is a good surgeon and a very gentle doctor. It's a pleasure to be his patient and I actually look forward to post-op visits with him. Things go smoothly in his clinic and there is obviously good communication between he and his assistant and office staff. A man who is obviously happy in his life and work is a good doctor as well. You can just tell! Besides all of that, he's got a good reputation in his field.

I really appreciate that Dr. Kartalian took great care to ensure that the cortisone shot I received was placed in the proper spot on the joint of my arthritic toe and that the process was fully explained to me.

I visited Dr. Kartalian for the first time on 27 January 2016. It was an excellent experience. I had a broken foot from the week before. Dr. Kartalian and his staff, including his nurse Tori, were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. The visit was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Dr. Kartalian to family and friends without any reservations.
