I take my mother there 82 year old. It’s been about 6 months he explains the difference in his treatment to her and the family that’s allowed. Very nice and takes care.

Likes to keep everyone happy even though she is in pain she will smile and tell jokes. She said that she was giving pain medication. ( lady year ) leading the DR. To think she was good. I have been seeing Dr. Farhat for a number of years. He has done an amazing job helping manage my pain. I can honestly say my career was extended because of him. I would highly recommend Dr. Farhat. Besides being a very knowledgeable doctor he has a great bedside manner and treats you like you are his only patience. Thank you Dr. Farhat

Dr Farhat is a very caring and concerned dr. He listens carefully, even to casual comments, and gives considered treatment course which may involve referrals to other specialists. He has helped me tremendously and referred me to others that have done a great deal to help me!!

I have been going to Dr Farhat for almost three years now. He is very kind and looks at the “whole picture”, my different conditions and always offers his advice from a different prospective - which I always find to be very helpful. He is not a doctor that throws a million pills at you and hopes they work. He helps to figure out the best plan - and suggests alternatives that would work for me. I highly recommend???? He is nice but doesn't deal with pain management. I have daily pain and he stopped prescribing me meds after 7 months and even then it wasn't enough for the month. He is obsessed with getting you off meds even when you will be dealing with pain for the rest of your life. He tried sending me in for an MRI even though I had had one 2 years prior, even had the cd I gave him, but I couldn't afford it again. I'm a teacher with crappy pay and crappier insurance. The staff is super nice but you will not get any pain relief from him. He is nice but doesn't deal with pain management. Dr. Farhat does a great job. I have been seeing him for a while, and he is candid and explains procedures thoroughly.

Dr. Farhat and his staff are unfailingly kind and helpful. When Dr. Farhat enters the room, it is as though you are his only patient. He is thorough and more than willing to answer questions. Dr. George Farhat is the only Pain Management Doctor you will ever need. He is professional, kind, and helps you to be able to live life again. My husband was let go from his job and when we lost our insurance I lost Dr. Farhat. I since then have had to deal with JPS. I have been taken off any kind of pain meds by them and everyday is unbearable. I have polyneurapathy, multiple bulging discs in all areas of my back. My neck being the worst. JPS says it is just my age and will just have to deal with it. I'm 44 years old. I pray all the time that something will change so I can return to him. Horrible experince, as you have read the doctor will send you different places to get things done they do not do MRIs there, the doctor barely gives me pain medication for my chronic back pain, 12-15 pills and they are low doses, which i need stronger becuase my pain is severe. The doctor had ordered MRI's and said he would send them and that i would get a call that week from the company who does them, 2 weeks go by and i have to call to see whats going on, they said ok we will tell them to give you a call, the MRI place gives me a call and said they had barely got the order from the doctor a day ago. So he waited 2 freaking weeks to send in the MRI orders!! Meanwhile im out of pain medicine (weak pain meds) and its already getting cold and im in more pain! And to top it off i have to call like 4 times before someone will answer and all the times i call asking to go see him or have questions they tell me they will call back, AND THEY NEVER CALL ME BACK!! I HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK!!! And to top it really off they forget why i initially called them in the first place. So if youre looking for a pain managment doctor that you have been reffered to and like to read reviews about the doctor please read this one becuase im telling you, i am trying to save you from a headache and pain and suffering!!!! Dr Farhat is by far one of the most caring doctors out there. I have been to many doctors that just don't care about their patients and want to spent time with them. Not only does he do all of that, but he ACTUALLY cares about you as a person and will do what it takes in helping you find the right doctors to help. I wish he could be my primary care doctor, he is amazing! Most importantly one of the first doctors,and I have been to many, that really, truly does care about you and your issues??

I went into the office they seemed to eager to get personal information. On each sheet of paper i signed i put that i would not pay more than the quoted co pay which was about$800 from insur. and $200 from me. Both the doctor and the manager said it would not be more they actually reschedulled the procedure to make sure. Then i was sent a bill for about $600 that i refused to pay. The reason they have the office across the hall is to get more insurance money and money from you. The steriod injections i had in the past i was just charged my standard co pay. Unlike previous steriod injections that helped this one did not my opinion is this is border line frauduant and plan on sending to the BBB dont go I went into the office they seemed to eager to get personal information. My husband went there in a lot of pain & has never received the kind of relief that he needs. They do not manage his pain at all & he had to go back probably 5-6 times over a 4 month period to finally get medication that somewhat relieved his pain. You would think by the name of the place that they would handle all pain management options but they do not! We had to go to another facility for injections, another facility for MRIs, another facility to speak to a surgeon...just a horrible place and we are finally moving to another location that does it all and won't charge you up the butt for mediocre medicine. Then we get charged by each place AND by this doctor? Just a horrible experience, as it is apparently what you find with doctors in Texas...they just don't care about the patient or how much pain you are truly in...
