Mr. George Frank Dobo

I was his patient for four years. However, something went wrong. Everytime I tried to setup an appointment it would be four to five months out...

I saw Dr. Dobo for a full body exam as I am a high cancer risk and have many moles. The only parts of my body he checked were my right arm, one section on my scalp, and my back. No exam of my fingers, toes, legs, bottom, ears, chest, or hairline. My previous dermatologist was extremely thorough, so it was shocking that Dr. Dobo didn't even look at most of my body. After he said he wasn't concerned about anything on me, I told him that my previous dermatologist had a list of moles she wanted to biopsy next. He then said that all of my moles were irregular, but he didn't want to leave me with several scars- I don't care about scarring as much as the cancer risk. He asked me if it was okay if he didn't biopsy any of them. I told him there are so many (and so many I can't see) that I wouldn't be able to notice if any of them change so I'd prefer him to biopsy anything that looks risky. He very reluctantly took 2 biopsies, and left the room before his assistant could stop the bleeding.

We love Dr. Dobo, our entire family has been seeing him for years and I trust him completely. Today we had to take our 4 year old to have a spot looked at and removed. We were referred & informed by my son's pediatrician what we thought was to take place. However, we discovered that the information we were given did not apply to my son's situation. Dr. Dobo took time to inform me of ALL of the options we had, his recommendation for the situation and what steps to take if we took a different treatment route. He didn't just do the procedure to get money, he genuinely cared about the risk to my son and wanted to make sure we understood the risks completely. We are very appreciative for that. He is always friendly and smiling. The staff is WONDERFUL, even as of today they helped me in ways that could have easily turned into a frustrating morning. I recommend this office, you are definitely in good hands. We love Dr. Dobo, our entire family has been seeing him for years and I trust him completely. I have been going to Dr. Dobo for the past 3 years. I have cronic issues with squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Dobo is ALWAYS pleasant and professional. He takes the time to explain the cause and the treatment. He calls me personally after each surgery to make sure everything is ok. You can tell that his staff loves working for him. Never ever have a long wait time. I would highly recommend Dr. Dobo at Marietta Dermatology.

Dr. George Dobo was not only kind and friendly, but also very thorough. He discovered a lump (which another doctor had told me not to worry about) and urged me to see a specialist. I did and it turned out the be cancer. A few operations later I am now cancer free. Dr. Dobo's thoroughness may have saved my life. I would highly recommend him.
