Dr. George K Bovis

He is the best Dr you can trust him with your life I had brain tumor removed and had gamma knife treatment.

Never met him. Staff was so inept I could barely find his office at L.G. Most miserable hospital campus around. Finally got to his office, Gave them my MRI but finally left 45 min. later.

The BEST doctor I have ever seen. I have lung cancer that spread to my brain. In 2010 I first met this man and a radiation oncologist. I was told whole brain radiation was my only option from 3 different doctors because of my 6 lesions in my brain. Dr. Bovis assured me Gamma Knife would be a good alternative. He was right! Numerous MRI scans proved a benign brain tumor also present. He talked me out of theGamma Knife again, I had 4 previous, on speculation that it was not a cancerous tumor. X

Back in February 23 2017 Dr Bovis and Dr gleesen did surgery on my back I can't say what wonderful doctor's they are. I think I would have been in a wheelchair the rest of my life if these two wonderful surgeons. I owe them my life. I count my blessings everyday to them Thanks so much for all you have done for me.??

Waited 8 long mths 4 this appt. Dr. Bovis walked in & QUICKLY explained diagnosis & recommendation w/o allowing me to ask questions as he talked or he would forget. Forget??? He does this daily, turn around look at the MRI & it should come quickly back to him, however I will forget my questions because I'm being hit with new stuff. Repeated himself 3 times & let us know! We heard him the 1st time!! He's a narcissist who talks down to you. Oh I want to say so much more but have no more chrctrs..

Dr. Bovis was very knowledgeable and informative in answering all my questions and concerns regarding my condition, the upcoming surgery and the recovery and follow up treatment. I never once felt that he was not qualified enough to do my surgery. I would definitely recommend him to my family & friends.
