Great sessions and experience. Explained possible benefits and side effects w/clarity and empathy. Never "promised" cure, only proposed solutions which ended up working. Went in to see her for a car accident and the treatments helped with stress and improved critical thinking.

Dr. Teurman misled me regarding neurofeedback, hailing it as a potential cure for my OCD. After spending several thousand dollars and several months of time, my OCD had barely improved, and I was left with debilitating anxiety that plagued me for 15 months. I know the neurofeedback treatment itself damaged my brain because I would feel the anxiety coming on after she would place the electrodes on my head. But she claimed that was part of the process and I foolishly believed her. I was manipulated as every psychologist and psychiatrist that I have since seen have dismissed neurofeedback as a cure for OCD. The truth is that treatment does exist for OCD, but there is no cure. I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Teurman and I am resentful that I lost so much money, time, and energy. Run for the hills if she says she can fix you in 20 sessions. There is no such thing as a magic bullet! Treating OCD requires exposure and response prevention, which is something she never discussed!
