I accompanied my boyfriend to his consultation with Dr. Samadder in January, and it was all around unprofessional. Columbus Sleep Consultants rents space in an old medical building that’s a bit sketchy, and their name is no where on the outside or inside. The receptionist was also the nurse, and she vocalized multiple times that she didn’t want to be there. Before my boyfriend talked to the nurse or doctor about his sleep concerns, he was given a cup to pee in but wasn’t told why. We went through the basic questions with the nurse, and eventually the doctor came in. He was extremely unprofessional. His phone rang multiple times, which he answered, and it was his wife yelling on the other end. He was obviously frustrated and distracted. We answered his questions, and without any explanation of what could be going on, he insisted on a sleep study. We went to the front desk to get more information, where he and the nurse were unpleasant and rude to each other. They were both trying to get out of there as fast as possible, since we were the last appointment. Dr. Samadder left before we did. My boyfriend declined the sleep study because of how unprofessional they were, and we didn’t have any confidence we’d get any answers. Later, we found out they ran a drug test, which they gave him before having any conversation about his concerns, and sent it to a place in Georgia. Not once did the nurse or doctor tell us they were doing a drug test or it’s purpose. He called CSC and they said he was not responsible for the $740 drug test, but wouldn’t tell us who would cover it. They said the person in charge of billing would call us, but we never heard from them, and anytime we called they were not in the office. We asked for the results and never received them. Now, 10 months later, the $740 bill arrived because the company they sent it to in Georgia obviously isn’t in our network, and CSC didn’t take care of it. We’re working on appealing it. No doctor should order a test before speaking to a patient about why they’re there, they never disclosed the test was being done or it’s purpose, and they said we were not responsible for it. I greatly dislike waiting hours for a scheduled appointment. He seems to resent the care I am currently receiving from another doctor for the same/similar ailment. That should not be my problem.

I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I want to warn others. Dr. Samadder was my sleep doctor for a year. He misdiagnosed my condition, and my therapy was completely wrong. I learned after the fact that he routinely sells CPAP machines to people without insurance at an outrageous price. When I brought his name up to other people in the medical sleep industry, they all cringed and said they'd heard lots of bad stuff about this doctor. I encourage anyone with sleep disorders or sleep apnea to seek treatment elsewhere. I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I want to warn others. he billed my insurance once for a appointment he didn't even show up for and canceled. This man and his business are shady at best

Dr Samadder MD and his PA had discovered I Bradicardia that is not caused by the obstructive sleep apnea. He goes above and beyond including his office staff for all of his patiences. I have referred many people to see him.

Always always late. I was a patient for 7 years. Seven years too long. I was too nieve to know to find another provider.

Dr shows up late every time...like hr plus late. I will b finding a new place. Or i assume it's ok if I show up an hr us late And his excuse for both times was that he got n a car wreck...i offered to go look at his car but he didn't want to go out..damn liar

Horrible! I felt I was over billed so I told them I would not be back and remove my name from their system. They billed me for a no show. I eventually paid because I didn't want it on my credit. Wait it gets better six months has past and I get billed for another no show on the same period I already paid. It does no good trying to call because I only reach a collection agency. They are impossible to get a hold of. They changed my doctor without telling me. I've called multiple times at different points in the day, but they are never able to answer the phone. I only give them two stars because once I was able to get in to see a doctor, I finally got a diagnosis for my hypersomnia and began treatment. I have not been able to ask follow-up questions, however, because calls and emails seem to be basically ignored. They are impossible to get a hold of. They changed my doctor without telling me. I was really looking forward to being able to write a good review, after all they did get me set up with a sleep study and then equipment after. Pros: 1. Sleeping better Cons: 1. It took 3 months from first initial call until I received my equipment. 2. Follow-up appointments are billed to insurance and all they did was take my blood pressure. 3. Trying to get replacement equipment is non-existent. 4. Was billed $700 per month (6 months) as a "rental fee" for a $1,200 machine. Still making monthly payments. 5. About 1 out of 5 phone calls actually result in speaking to someone unless you want to book an appointment as a new patient... so they can get more $ I suppose. 6. Leaving a message is pointless because nobody ever calls you back, even when attempting to make a payment. 7. When contacting another outsourcing company for equipment they submitted a request for ALL NEW EQUIPMENT as if it were my first time, including a new machine. Bottom line, save yourself the headache and find another reputable clinic, and when you do and it's time for new equipment (mask, hose, etc.), buy online and don't let it bill your insurance. The out of pocket payment is cheaper in the long run. Don't EVER allow yourself to be referred to Columbus Sleep Consultants! His office did an entire extra night of sleep study, and failed to mention that they intentionally maxed my treatment balance on my first visit! Then, Dr. Samadder no-showed MY appointment that I took time off work for....THEN, when I take time off for the rescheduled appointment today, they say they don't have to disclose my test results unless I pay half the balance OOP today!

I would give zero stars if I could. He is rude and always an hr to 2 late...appts starts at 830..he comes to work at 934 on Nov 22, 2017. My 930 appt is now 1052 and I'm still sitting here. If I didn't need new equipment is be out of here. And this is my last time here

No matter how early you come for an appointment they are always standing around talking around talking and always late. I have been waiting for 30 minutes plus every visit I have had here. It is very frustrating!!

Having been a sleep apnea patient for over 25+ years, I have seen numerous sleep clinics and various pulmonary specialists over those years. This is by far the worst clinic and Dr. I have ever encountered. The only thing positive I can say about his practice is that I did receive a very good (and new) CPAP machine. (Of course, my high deductibles and insurance covered those costs, so, not sure how much credit CSC should receive?) Terrible place and Dr. - seek out others to help you.

DO NOT go to Dr Samadder. He is in it for the $ and they charge high prices. Dr Samadder saw me once. I came back to see him and they told me that another doc was going to see me - without me being asked. Samadder kept my husband waiting for more than 45 minutes once. As my hubby was looking out the window, Samadder pulled up along the curb and hopped out of his sports car. The sleep study rooms have had a broken TV, no soap or hot water in the morning...Awful. I want a doctor that cares.

On multiple occasions, I've been the first appointment of the day. Every time I wait 45 minutes to get take to a room. The central office is impossible to get a hold of. My prior authorization I requested 2 months ago has yet to be completed! I wouldn't recommend Dr. Sammadar to anyone!

It has been over 3 months since my first consult and we are still no closer than before I began. The only thing that has been done is my insurance has been billed thousands of dollars and I myself owing the remaining. I should have researched sleep doctors before going with this one. Now they are calling to tell me there is a mouth piece I can use rather than the machine and I still don't even have a machine. The staff is SOOOO confused. BIG REGRETS going to this business.
