Dr. Gary Wright

Dr. Wright has been our family doctor for the past 12 years, and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. From routine check-ups to more complex medical issues, he has consistently demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. One of the things that we appreciate most about Dr. Wright is his ability to communicate clearly and effectively and takes the time to listen to our concerns and explains medical concepts in a way that is easy to understand. We feel confident that he has our best interests at heart and is dedicated to helping us maintain optimal health. Overall, we highly recommend Dr. Wright to anyone in need of a general practitioner. He is an excellent doctor and we feel lucky to have him as our family physician.

I’ve tried calling for two weeks to get an appointment and every time I get sent straight to voicemail and told that the mailbox is full and cannot take my call. This is so frustrating when you’re trying to make an appointment that you need and you can’t even get a voicemail or even someone to answer a phone.

I would give No stars if I could! I have been there and so has my wife. On BOTH separate occasions, meds were not called in to the pharmacy as promised and we wasted our time and money going to the pharmacy and then having to go back and forth with the office. In addition, I have an issue with a family member's memory issue and was seeking some advice (NOT a diagnosis) to speak with the doctor. The doctor refused to even get on the phone and speak with me, but would need to schedule an appointment. You can't take 2 min out of your day, but need to collect your whole fee ?

What i like about Dr Write is that you can ask him any thing he is good Dr and a good friend.

I have been seeing Dr Wright for about 10 years now. He’s been the best and honest Dr ever I’ve ever had and I’m in my 50s. I've been seeing Dr. Wright for close to 7 years now. I went to him shortly after moving to FL and have always been pleased with his professionalism and expertise. Dr. Wright does a great job in balancing between natural treatment and prescriptions. He prescribes only what is needed and does a great job of listening to the patients, something many doctors don't do well. Many doctors think the patients are unqualified to know when something isn't right in their body and should just mindlessly obey what a doctor says. Dr. Wright listens and tries to understand what is going on, asks questions, and provides recommendations based on his knowledge and extensive experience. He listens to and acknowledges feedback and truly cares about his patients. To give you an idea of how much I value Dr. Wright and the services he provides, I have Web TPA insurance as my wife works for Lee Health. Dr. Wright does not take Web TPA yet I still elect to pay out of pocket for every visit as I'd rather pay for his services than pay a much smaller copay for a Lee doctor and roll the dice on the treatment I will get. When it comes to my health I will always stick with someone I trust and like as a person. In our talks it seems we have similar values and I will always try to support local small businesses and like-minded people as that is one thing that makes our communities and our country strong. Dr Wright has alway been fair to me, ive seen him for about 7 years, hes helped me more than any other dr has, he lets me know how injuries, ect work and how to go about improving the issues, he is definitley honest and doesn't play the beat around the bush game or any games. Friendly very professional and fast

The office staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Im so happy I finally found a doctor who listens and pays attention.

I can always get an appointment that day or the next. They also have me wait in the car until they're ready to wait on me, so I don't have to sit in an office with a bunch of other sick people.

I've had doctor Wight as my primary for years and he's always done a fantastic job. But his staff behind the counter leaves something to be desired for sure.

I’m a health care professional, and have referred a couple patients to Dr Wright. I can’t say enough about their treatment of all of their patients, as he and his staff truly care. Not only has Dr Wright helped my patients, but he went above and beyond to find out ‘what he could do for them’. I’ve called about imminent medical issues for the patients and the office staff has gotten the patient’s in within 1 day. And, made the patients feel like they are actually apart of their care, too! I when to the office on 3/14/20, the doctor on doctor Wright place , told me if I'm sick I don't suppose to be there. I have been to see this Doctor several times and have always received great care in a timely manner.

Worst doctor I’ve ever been to in my life. He looked me in my eyes & told me I was dying, & then proceeded to tell me that to gain weight I needed to “eat ice cream” but then sent me home afterwards. He tries to scare you into being healthy & is altogether not a good person. Please go ANYWHERE else besides here.

This place is a joke. Wait times over an hour. Never on time. Staff, especially the long haired blonde is downright rude and nasty. I will no longer go to that place or recommend them.

Gary Wright lacks knowledge and integrity.

Horrible staff at the front desk. Wrote a review about it yesterday and it was already deleted. They obviously don't want anyone to know how horrible their staff is.

Dr. wright is a excellent doctor and very attentive. The other staff is very friendly also. I have been going there for almost 2 years now no complaints.

Dr Wright is a great doctor. My husband and I have been going to him for 5 years with no complaints barring one incident when the person that deals with Insurance didn't seem to be able to deal with the issues presented to her.

Dr. Wright and his entire staff are all amazing. He is the smartest and best doctor I have ever been to. He, and his staff are so kind and considerate, and I have never had a bad experience. He is now who I use as my primary doctor, and I would highly recommend Dr. Wright and his team to anyone.

I love this place! The staff are always warm and welcoming and more than happy to help me or my family with any health issues that we have had. They have been prompt and attentive as soon as I walk in the door. Dr. Wright is friendly and approachable. Even when Dr. Wright isn't available, they always have a doctor there who is. And the two I have had the chance to meet were very caring and thorough. I have never written a review for anything in my life; however when a service provided is always done well, I believe they deserve some special recognition and feedback. Here I thought I found a good Dr. and office. Well, I don't have issues with the Dr. but the staff when it comes to billing issues and questions are outright rude. No customer service whatsoever. Billing for a visit from August of 2017 and when I question it, they act like it was my fault. Totally unprofessional and will be looking for a new Dr.

Wish I had more room to write. In summary, Dr himself was okay, though he rushed his exam. Nurse was great. Office receptionist Debbie is perhaps the rudest and most impersonal individual Ive ever encountered in a Dr office. Why she is customer-facing is beyond me. I've already found a more reputable Dr's office. Save yourself the overpriced "new patient" fee this place extorts from you and go elsewhere.

I went in a few days ago. Had to argue with the miserable young woman behind the desk when she said our claim number was wrong from insurance co. She didnt care that my husband and i had to struggle getting ahold of everyone and argued a little bit with eachother just to learn she was wrong and we did have it correct. The entire mood behind the desk was miserable including the blonde next to her. They had no smile and no nice greeting the entire time. We went in our time of need in our time of pain and contemplated walking out because we felt so unwelcome. The very first guest should be treated the same as the last no matter what time of day. Great doctor and great staff. My whole family uses him as our primary doctor since 2015!

We went to this doctor once because our family doctor was out of town, and we have been going here ever since. Dr. Wright helped me get rid of a skin problem that I had for over a year. I had been to see my previous doctor 3 times and he just kept sending me home and telling me it would clear up on its own, and it actually just kept getting worse. A year later I went to see Dr. Wright about it, he wrote a perscription and 3 months later my skin cleared and it hasn't returned. I have had other good experiences here too. My family and I now go to Dr.Wright as our primary physician. I also really like the staff here too, everyone is helpful and very nice. Dr. Wright takes the time to talk and listen. He is knowledgeable, caring and a compassionate doctor. I would highly recommend him.

Seems like a personable and competent doctor, but the staff is totally ignorant about insurance billing, especially Medicare. Steer clear unless you are paying cash.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Takes the time to speak with each patient as a person. I had a lot of questions regarding my condition and he explained everything so that I could understand fully. One time I had to make a repeat visit, I thought it was going to be like most Dr's and take weeks. He saw me first thing the next AM. I am very confident to tell friends and relatives to make him their family DR
