Dr. Gary B Weiss

He is a doctor with many years of experience and is obviously in this field for all the right reasons. He has a genuine personality to go along with his extensive academics giving him a personable bedside manner. You can trust his medical decisions and feel confident in your care.

Dr. Weiss has been my hematologist for many years. He has helped me, and i have every confidence in him.

Dr. Weiss is a good communicator in addition to being a good Doctor. He explains medical issues where they are understandable.

Dr. Weiss has consistently displayed his professionalism, interest and compassion from my initial consultation to post treatment. Given the fact I'm a two time gastro cancer patient. Offering concise answers to all my questions with his 30+ yr knowledge. Throughout my Chemo/Radiation treatment the entire Texas Oncology-Webster team exhibited the utmost respect, attentiveness and genuine passion. I'm truly grateful for all these practices . In my opinion they have truly "raised the bar" in Cancer Pre/Post Treatment making the patient comfortable and not simply "a number or just another cancer patient". In November I celebrate my 76th birthday and I truly owe this years celebration to Dr. Weiss

I am lighthearted and a rather novel, sometimes silly, patient .. relaxed and always ready to have a great conversation about my situation, where we're headed, and where we want to be. Therefore, Dr. Weiss is appreciatively honest, accommodating, low key, and candid in our discussions, never promising a glowing future ... just a realistic one.

Went to him and he was very short with a horrible bedside manner. Told me I had cancer like he was saying hello. No emotion and didn't explain anything. He wanted me to start chemo that day but I got a second opinion and I'm cancer free. Do not trust this man. He obviously needs to retire.

Dr Weiss misdiagnosed me with cancer. Thank God that my mother told me to get a 2nd opinion at MD Anderson before starting chemo which he wanted me to do immediately. My family knows him very well. He used to be a good doctor but he needs to retire. Not to mention he has HORRIBLE bedside manner. MD Anderson was shocked at what he did! Chemo could have ruined my life when I didn't need it!

My mother had breast cancer and lung cancer. Dr. Weiss was very friendly and upon our last visit told her that she had 3 months left to live, during that visit he received a call, an invitation as he called it the pharmaceutical reps buy me dinner but I dont buy their drugs. He laughed....We contacted Hospice as was recommended by staff. They took over after that. I contacted his staff about her depression and they stated well, she's dying she's going to be depressed Hopsice helped
