Very professional and friendly staff and excellent orthodontists! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing orthodontic treatment (either braces or Invisalign).

Dr. Taylor is outstanding with our children. We have received wonderful care under Dr. Morris and Taylor. The entire office is friendly and caring. They are everything I could ask for and more!! Thank you!!!

My son loves this practice both staffs and providers! He has been seen by them for the last 2-3 years with wonderful results. Our older son also had his orthodontics here more than a decade ago!!

My son has been going to Morris and Taylor for a few years now. They have always been very professional and respectful. Everyone that has helped treat my son has been friendly and kind. He was scared when he first started going (he was 7) and they were very patient with him. He is now 14 and about to get his braces off. I can’t recommend Morris and Taylor enough! Not sure if it was because we were at a different office, but there was some miscommunication somewhere and they began treating my son for something different when he was just there for a simple Invisalign check. I’m thankful he spoke up and his appointment was very quick after they realized the mistake. This is not typical though as we have loved Dr Morris throughout his time in braces (he did not see Dr. Morris today). The only previous complaint prior to this is the limited number of appointments available at the Churchland office which made continuity of care challenging while he had regular braces on.

From the docs to the techs to the staff, this is the friendliest and at the same time most professional group of individuals I think I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and respecting! The docs almost seem interchangeable, both quickly winning the confidence of their mostly, of course, young patients and parents alike, never talking down to anyone while making the patient feel as if that child is the reason he came to work that day. The office "fun events" keep the atmosphere light and refreshing. I have enjoyed taking our two sons to the orthodontists' office for the last couple of years, and as of Tuesday they are now in what I would call the maintenance phase for life. We will miss their smiling faces!!

I have had one round of braces with Drs Morris and Taylor. My son has been a patient since he was 4. Starting with a palate expander and then a round of braces to bring down a tooth that wouldn't break the gums. I am now having my second round of braces due to not wearing my retainer. The staff are all very friendly and the doctors are amazing. They really make you feel like family. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Ok so it has been YEARS since I've completed my orthodontia treatment, and guess what I've learned: My jaws are actually set too far back, and Drs. Morris and Taylor did not recommend mandibular advancement or Le Fort surgery to correct that in addition to orthodontia. Fast forward 20 years later, me still wearing my retainer religiously and my teeth appearing straight (that's all a lay person is going to recognize, right?), I snore and also wonder why my mouth has never closed naturally because it is more natural for it to be open slightly. So I start doing research and find out that orthognathic surgery is needed. I see an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and another orthodontist, and they tell me that my teeth were actually aligned incorrectly because the surgery was necessary for proper occlusion in addition to orthodontia. I guess Drs. Morris and Taylor figured they could "wing it" by themselves. Also, I don't know if their ethics have changed, but I remember sitting in the chair during monthly appointments and they and their techs would yank things in and out of my mouth without telling me what they were going to do. Now, as a healthcare professional myself; one of the golden rules is: you ALWAYS tell the patient what you're going to do before you touch them. My advice: get a second opinion before signing up with these guys. They're the type of orthodontists that go "well that's good enough" for a specialty that is more critically technical, and it may cost you down the road. It's definitely costing me. Don't worry, I put this all over Yelp and their Facebook page because I am REALLY unhappy with the sloppy work they did.

Our son had lost his lower K9’s a few months ago. We mentioned him being worried why they were taking so long to come in on a normal retainer follow up. They did a quick pano, pulled it up and put his mind at ease showing and fully explaining all his teeth An s were they were in his growth cycle. Excellent service, Thank You!

Very impressed with the quality of service and the staff! My son had braces several years ago and now I have invisalign. After ALL these years today is the ONLY time I can honestly say I was not happy with one person (orthodontist assistant), I had never seen her before and she was not pleasant as ALL of the other people have always been. Love Dr. Morris, Dr. Taylor and their staff. They walked us through 7 years or orthodontic procedures with my daughter. (she started with a mess and ended with a beautiful smile!) Now it is my sons turn. I love that for years Dr. Morris and Taylor have checked on his mouth and how his teeth were coming in so that he was not put into braces before they were really needed. Always helpful, kind, and professional. I love that the staff cares for my child’s overall dental hygiene by giving her a sonicare on her initial visit and provides toothbrushes/paste at every visit. My daughter has never been a fan of the dentist, doctor or orthodontist. However, from her first visit she was always willing to go to Morris & Taylor because they made her feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and informative explaining things to the children and parents. I was so impressed that they all really got to know her. So much so that they would ask her when she went back 4-6 weeks later how did you do or how did that go, no matter what it was. They even sent her a card once congratulating her on a race she had won. I loved and appreciated how they made her feel so important. She loves going to see them - no fears anymore! My son had his first appointment to start the orthodontic process on his birthday. The staff was welcoming and friendly and made us both feel comfortable about the process. Dr. Morris was wonderful and my son loved talking about fishing with him. When everything was done and we were about to leave, they all started clapping and singing "Happy Birthday" and brought out a cupcake for him. This was such a special touch that I know my son will never forget and he will look forward to swapping fishing tales with the doctors when he goes for each visit. I used to go to them when I had braces & they were great. They've always have the most wonderful staff to help make your experience pleasant. From the very first time we walked into this place of business here in Elizabeth City NC for my daughters appointment for braces, I was very impressed. The entire staff that I've came in contact with there are extremely wonderful. They are very professional treat you like family and dishes you out a tone of loving every single time we are there. My daughter just got her braces off 6 weeks ago and said she's going to miss them a lot and she would like to go back and visit them from time to time.
