Dr. Gary Toshiyuki Tanouye

I have sent so many people to Dr. Tanouye with difficult problems. He diagnosed my daughter after months of seeing other doctors with no results. A cousin, who was afraid of doctors, was welcomed by his great bedside manner and calm, knowledgeable explanations. I highly recommend him.

My mother, brother, sister-in law and nephews utilized Dr. Tanouye's services for more years than I can remember. My brother who was on a first name basis with Gary and extremely friendly with him passed away on New Years' Eve day. One would think he would have contacted my nephews who he knew extremely well to offer condolences. Not!!!! Please someone tell Gary that the 99 Cent Store sell sympathy cards.

Dr. Tanouye is one of the best doctors we have encountered in our almost 80 years. He is patient, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable.

A doctor who really listens and cares about his patients

The care that my 89 year old mother received was terrible. He cancels appointments at the last minute even in an emergency . I would give him 0 stars if I could.

Terrible doctor cancels emergency appointments for an 89 year old women told her to go to urgent care. The worst!

Dr. Tanouye has been our family doctor for almost 20 years. He is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, compassionate, thorough, takes time to listen to your concerns, orders appropriate tests when necessary, and communicates test results within a timely manner. We moved out-of-state two years ago and still come back twice a year for check-ups. Finding another doctor in our new city who we are comfortable with has been a challenge. Linda M.

After few years looking around and trying to find an internist I can trust, Also after quitting my previous internist, I found Dr. Gary Tanouye who is one of the best doctors I have ever known.

Dr. Tanouye is the best internist I have ever had. As a retired physician and pharmacist I have the utmost respect for his ability as a physician and person. I have never known a physician whose bedside manner is any better than his. My whole family feels the same way. My wife is an RN and has never known anyone as competent.
