Dr. Gary Brian Southerland

Thanks for towing my car the day before Christmas Eve. I got a rental for the day to go see family and Hertz had no room to leave your vehicle. Figured my car would be good for less than 24 hours considering your office was closed for the Holidays and no one was there… wrong. $400 just to get it out of towing not including the fees I had to pay to Uber the past two days because they wouldn’t let me get my car until Monday. Single mom of two and Christmas was already a stretch, going through a rough time.. this was the icing on top of my wonderful year. Word of advice, don’t park here, even if the office is closed… you WILL BE TOWED!

I've been going to Dr. Southerland for almost two decades. His staff is always friendly and attentive, especially Sue at the front desk and Melissa the hygienist. Nikki is always welcoming as well. The ladies are the best! Dr. Southerland is thorough and has the health of my teeth at his best interest. I can count on Dr. Southerland for the best advice. Big kudos to all at Dr. Southerland's office!

I love Dr. Southerland! I have been a patient of his for about 30 years. Staff is excellent. They are very caring and make you feel at ease. I would highly recommend this Dentistry if anybody is looking for a new dentist.

Believe it when I say I didn't feel a thing. 20 some odd extractions and jaw bone shaping. Went home, took a nap then went to HEB. Felt fine. Next day, same thing. We have been using Dr. Southerland for years now and have had nothing but good experiences. All of the staff is amazing and very friendly. Always able to work you in when needed. Sue is amazing!

After checking out several dentists in Temple, Dr. Southerland and his staff are definitely the friendliest and have the most laid-back atmosphere. I received a thorough treatment and great advice from them!

I have always had top service from Dr Southerland and would advise to use him for any friends and relatives.

Competent friendly staff, affordable, will take the time to offer options not just the most expensive way.

I took my 9 year old son here to have 2 baby teeth pulled. I had to wait in the lobby, as parents aren't allowed back with the kids. I hear my son start crying and then hear Dr. Southerland tell him to "quit crying" in a stern voice. I asked my son afterwards if that is what was said, and he replied yes. He does not have a good bedside manner and doesn't want the parents back with the kids so he can be forceful with them. My kids will not be back!
