Such a rude group of people. Reception is 0 help. If you’re under 50 years old they ignore you and are disrespectful and roll your eyes at questions. Aestheticians don’t give any information/answer any questions when you want to book something new. I’ve always gone for laser (super quick in and out in 15 minutes) so dealing with rudeness was fine. But I wanted info on some chem peels/micro needling/ etc and they just told me to book the appointment. No info. No prices. Dr. Palmer I’ve only met once and never again. Dr. Palmer has been my doctor for decades. I would never go to anyone else. Dr. Palmer is very professional and knows what he's doing. He's been a life saver with treatment for my psoriasis to mole removal. I know many people who go to Dr. Palmer and they all have wonderful things to say when his name is mentioned. Will not check to ensure that the mediations he prescribes won’t have deadly interactions.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Palmers office. Staff was very friendly, very short wait time. He took care of an issue in two appointments that I had been dealing with for years with another dermatologist. He is amazing and very good at what he does.

I don't say this lightly, but I would never recommend him. I felt his manner was extremely rude and brusque. I reminded him that I had come in for a mole check after having another procedure done and he very roughly grabbed my arm and then grabbed my other arm and looked at it for about two seconds and said, "you're fine" and walked out of the room. I was stunned. On some of my other interactions with him, he was okay. I just couldn't quite get over the way he checked me for skin cancer and it just rubbed me the wrong way. Incidentally, it turned out I had a precancerous skin patch on my face that he hadn't even bothered to look at. I don't say this lightly, but I would never recommend him. Arrogant. As a first time patient ,full of questions , he answered 1 question not related to visit . Then he said he didn't have time to answer more.

Awful. Did a procedure without my consent and left a big, deep scar on my nose. Told me a plastic surgeon could fix it (at my expense of course) but plastic surgeon told me Palmer had taken too much skin and the fix would be worse.

Dr. Palmer didn't wash his hands or wear gloves when touching open injections on my forehead; he nearly stuck me in the eye with a needle full of Dysport while telling a joke and waving his hands around with the needle near my eye; as this happened, fluid squirted out of the needle onto my face just below my right eye (which he quickly wiped away with his finger). I later had a reaction to the Dysport with red bumps appearing all over my forehead; in addition, the receptionist berated me in the waiting room in front of other patients for asking the unit price of Dysport; I was so disheartened with the unprofessionalism of the entire visit, I disputed the charge on my credit card and wrote a complaint to the Ohio State Medical Board and my local health department. I was told I have having light pulses to remove dark spots. I was not told the procedure would Hurt or cause any harm. It felt like I was being burned by 1000 cigarettes. And that is exactly what happened. I was severely burned all over my entire face. It swelled and was extremely painful and I wasn’t warned that any of this could happen or what to watch for. I had to go to the Er for treatment for the burns and I’m missing work. Their office refuses to pay for my time missed at work. Dr Palmer even told me that getting angry wouldn’t help me heal. I have been going to Dr. Palmer for years. Always been professional never had any problems after any procedure.

1) To comment on the review listed - Pepper Dog - We have not been able to identify that this person has ever been seen at our office. We typically do not refer to plastic surgeons for scar repair but do this ourselves with laser if and when needed. Our office would never tell a patient they can see a plastic surgeon to have repair at their own cost, rather we get many referrals from local plastic surgeons to have scars treated with lasers. It is inappropriate to leave a negative review for a physician anonymously so there is no opportunity to verify its validity. If there is a concern with a physician, it is best handled by discussing with physician to solve the problem satisfactorily. 2) Sakho - It is inappropriate and slanderous to make statements about hearsay. Omg I can't believe the other comments on here!! I have been a patient of Dr. Palmer since I was 11 yrs old, I'm 43 now! Not just me, but my parents as well have been decade long patients. We have always had confidence and trust in Dr. Palmer and find him to be extremely professional and kind. He is highly regarded and popular in the Dayton-Cincinnati area and has at least 3 office locations. I go to the Centerville location and think his staff are also professional and friendly. No stars to give if possible, haven't been to this Dr in years. I had a rash Dr Palmer didn't even look at it and what he gave me made it worse..I called his office they had him call me. He was going phone something in to Kroger...Kroger never received anything. Went to my family Dr the following business day and was better in a couple days! Have heard several similar stories about same issue and that he bills insurance for procedures he doesn't even do....like freezing moles etc. No stars to give if possible, haven't been to this Dr in years. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Gary Palmer for over 20 years. He has many years of experience and is very knowledgeable. I trust his opinion and feel I am getting the best care possible for my skin conditions. I recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone that needs a dermatologist.

I have gone to Dr. Palmer multiple times for a series of things, from a rash on my leg to acne to spider angiomas. He is extremely knowledgeable and is current on the latest technology. I always feel like I am in good hands and I will continue to go to his office for as long as possible. A truly great doctor.

Completely dismissive of me, spent less than 2 minutes with me before saying there wasn't anything he could do with the limited resources he had and told me to come back at another time. Felt disrespected, his attitude towards me was completely unprofessional.
