Dr. Oaks was very professional and very nice. He talked to us and explained all of our options. His nurse was great too.

Very enjoyable to talk to and is very easy to answer your questions.

Dr. Oaks was very thorough explaining my injury and what to do for my recovery. He was on time and I went in at my scheduled appointment time.

Great Dr. ???? Very knowledgeable, freaky fast funny. Overall a great experience. I wish I wouldn't of waited so long to go to see a pro. Tried all the hoxes on the internet and nothing worked. Highly recommended!

Dr. Oakes was fantastic. He helped us with the issue were there for an even suggested how to fix a second issue. I would highly recommend.

Gary oaks has been taking care of all my families foot care needs and has a way of making the visits pleasant and enjoyable..

I had a procedure done here. Friendly staff and I was in and out before I knew it. Dr. Oaks is very professional, he took the time to explain things to me and did not rush me into anything that I did not want done.

Dr Oaks does a great job… especially with youth athletes. Would highly recommend him if your active kids have foot, heel or knee pain. It all starts with the feet!

Despite being told that the Dr was “running behind” they brought me right back. I wasn’t waiting more than 10 minutes. Dr Oaks was very thorough- gave me all options and really listened to my thoughts, answered all questions. He was very kind, caring, and helpful. I honestly wish more doctors would have to compassion and thoughtful kindness Dr Oaks showed me. He treated two of my closest friends as well, and they’ve become close friends. I've seen Dr Oaks multiple times over the past three years. He is absolutely a specialist who knows his stuff and cares about his patients. If you are worried about the pain associated with getting treated, he is the doctor for you. I've never once felt any pain from numbing medicine, cutting, or even aftercare. He absolutely wants you to be comfortable and deal with the problem at hand rather than fear and anxiety. I will absolutely continue to see Dr Oaks as foot and nail problems arise. Thanks Doc! It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve had a titanium cap placed in my right big toe joint by Dr Gary Oakes. I have been SO disappointed with the foot surgery results! Dr Oaks knew I was a runner. Every day my foot hurts, I have to walk/run where I turn my foot so it doesn’t push on the toe joint (the whole left side of my foot hurts some days.) When I went to my follow up appointments in the months after the surgery, and voiced my concerns to Dr Oaks he suggested MORE surgery! Really? He was supposed to get it right the first time! I have since seen 2 other docs, one an orthopedic surgeon. He said he would NEVER have done what Dr Oaks did. Those titanium caps in the joints don’t last. He wants to remove it and use part of my ilium (hip bone) to replace the cap. Dr Oaks also has a strange bedside manner where he doesn’t look you in the eye. And he talks down to you. Yeah, he explains things but almost over- simplified. I regret I ever had him do the surgery (he was recommended to me by a friend, and I had seen 2 docs before him. I don’t take the decision to have surgery lightly. I decided to trust him, and he has since caused me to question and distrust the promises a doctor makes). Dr Oaks has a great staff and has helped me stay on my feet at work. I'm hard on my body, I work 70 hours per week, and take about 18,000 steps per day on concrete. He has also has helped my 12yo with her knee pain. He explains things in a very understandable way and works to keep you off the operating table with proven methods. NOT HAPPY! ARRIVED 8 MINUTES LATE AND WOULDN'T SEE US. DOCTORS MAKE YOU WAIT 30 TO 40 MINUTES FOR THEM AND THEN PITCH A FIT WHEN YOUR LATE. IF YOU USE HIM, YOU BETTER GET THERE EARLY. NURSE ISNT GREAT EITHER!!

I called to make an appointment based on a medical referral I received. I had two prior appointments, but due to the COVID issue, my original appointment was cancelled in March and moved to April. I called to reschedule my April appointment, but had to leave a voicemail since there was nobody to answer the phone. I called today to schedule the appointment and was told that, due to "two no shows", the doctor refused to see me. This is a whole new level of unprofessionalism. I didn't have a great experience. The doctor appears to have written most of these reviews himself. This website isn't a Tanner Clinic website. It appears to be fabricated by this doctor simply to get false reviews, many of which I don't believe. I really do not believe that these came from actual patients. The few 1 star reviews appear real, like what the doctor is really like. The real website is TannerClinic dot com. He is simply trying to change perception by having his own, the other doctors at Tanner don't have their own website. I didn't have a great experience.
