My husband just spent five days in Covid ICU at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gary Kohler was his doctor. He is concerned, compassionate, and very focused on beating this disease! He is thorough and decisive, and tells you what you need to know. We trust him with our lives! When we got to his office, my husband’s situation was very serious. Dr. Kohler’s staff took good care of us, and when he walked into the room, he was prepared — he had already reviewed the notes and got right to work. His decisions were spot-on, and no doubt saved my husband’s life. We still have a way to — Covid is a horrible disease — but I am confident we will get there. Our deepest gratitude to Dr. Kohler and all the medical personnel who worked so hard to get us through this illness, and who are still with us as we convalesce. Prayers that you all stay healthy, safe, and strong!

I’ve never had a doctor who was more dedicated to his patients and his profession than Dr. Kohler. He’s a great doctor and a good person. He cares. He works hard to learn everything he can so his patients get the best treatment possible. Louisiana Life Magazine names Top Doctors every year, and there he is, most recently listed on page 53 of the Nov/Dec 2020 issue. He is recognized and well-respected by his peers. When things get serious, see Dr. Gary Kohler. He will do everything humanly possible to restore you to good health.

I know there is another good pulmonologist in Lake Charles but I think Dr. Gary Kholer is the best. He gives me hope when another doctor only gave me 2 years to live. It has now been 5 years and I feel it's in part due to the encouragement I receive from Dr. Kholer and his nurse Peggy.

Dr. Kohler is my Love hands off lol He saved my life, 23yrs ago . He's a friend when needed , Serious about his care work for Real . I love him as my Brother I Trust him with my Medical NEEDs . He's Honest., Helpful Handsome to . Above all He's a Great Man an a Greater Doctor Gary Kohler MD. HE'S MINE!

I've been with Dr. Kohler for the past 6 years. He is an excellent professional, knowledgeable, committed to his career and always ready to help, no matter how busy he is. The staff and his Nurse Peggy are very kind, attentive and caring. I have a severe case of asthma but he never stopped trying new options and right now, I feel much better.
