Dr. Hochheiser saved My life. I presented with Stage lll B inoperable Lung Cancer. My lungs were beat up from COPD. He sent Me for a test and decided on a plan. He operated quickly removed My tumor and lymph nodes and the top lobe of the lung the cancer was in. From there My Oncologist took over. I am Cancer free now for over two years. I now breathe better and My Oxygen level is 97 to 100%. Had not been that high for many years. He is caring, thorough, respectful, and a wonderful communicator. He kept in touch throughout My journey. His office staff and Team are excellent as well. You know confidently that You are in great hands! He is the Best There is!

Dr. Hochheiser is one of the best doctors there is. He is straight up with his patients and the family. 1) Very compassionate. 2) He shows his concern for the patient. He is so good that he is not longer at Baystate Medical Center as he returned to Maine Medical Center to accept a chairmanship... He is and will continue to be a big loss in the Western Mass Hospitals...

Dr. Hochheiser is exactly what I would look for in the ideal doctor: 1) He's very good at what he does and well known for it. 2) His demeanor with patients conveys compassion and care. 3) He takes as much time as needed to ensure patients and their families understand diagnoses and treatment options. You may find that you might wait a while from your planned appointment time, but that is because he's not rushing the previous patient, just like he's not going to rush with you.
