If you need medial attention find a real Doctor not this guy. Shows little concern for his patients. Very sad.

I called to make a appointment and the person that answered the phone, acted like he didn't want to help me, was very rude, then asked for my insurance info, and when I told him, he said we don't take that insurance right now, ain't that something, I was referred by an E.R. doctor, I need an appointment as soon as possible, and he turned me down, how rude ..never calling there again, I wish I could give them zero stars... Had outpatient surgery. Dr. Coleman administered a "self-administered" ear drop during the procedure that was non-formulary under my prescription insurance so it was not covered. VERY expensive ear drops, $561, I had to pay out of pocket. He and his office refused to cooperate with my insurance company's pre-authorization process to justify his having to use it.

Didn't listen or answer questions. Still have issues and the only thing to show is less $ in the bank.

Terrible and awful not sure if he has a mental disability or something wrong with him. Also the building was just terrible the front desk women was hitting on a guy in front of me also was very rude making comments that should not be made in a medical area. When I left there I felt sad and confused and out 116.69 for a hour wait and just a 5 minute visit. Pleassse don’t go here. Staff was terrible there Payment department was awful. Avoid here at all costs was like a dang crack house. Just sad.

Wouldn’t treat my husband at Toledo Hospital because he had cancer surgery at U of M and insisted we go back there. We had to drive up to Ann Arbor in a snow storm. A RESIDENT doctor at U of M found the problem in 30 seconds. Dr Coleman is a joke of a doctor. Stay clear. If Toledo Hospital is trying to be a “big” Hospital, they better be changing who they let in. Don’t do it. Just don’t. Dr. Coleman might as well work for a retail outlet as opposed to a licensed medical establishment. I was his patient for about 5 years because I was experiencing stuffiness and mucus drainage. He had absolutely no idea what the exact cause of this was so they explored a myriad of treatments. The first being allergy immunization shots (which I later realized, by going to an actual allergist that my allergies were almost nonexistent. It seems they were testing for things not even prevalent in the northwest Ohio region). I was on these for a few years despite them doing absolutely nothing. Waste of time and money. Then Dr. Coleman recommend surgery because of a “deviated septum”( which I later realized wasn’t all that deviated by going to another ENT). Didn’t work and my septum is crooked now. My aggresor was acid reflux and was treated almost immediately by going to my current ENT physician. It was diagnosed in less than 15 minutes and is treated with medication that costs about $15 a month I probably wasted 5 or 6 year of my life and almost $5,000 of my own money going to this place ( I was a poor college student for this duration). I hope you enjoyed your new golf clubs doc. Don’t do it. Just don’t. Dr. Coleman might as well work for a retail outlet as opposed to a licensed medical establishment. We had a great experience with Dr. Coleman. He seemed knowledgeable and kind and just laid out exactly what was going to happen for our children's surgeries. He answered our questions. It was comforting since one of our children at high risk for everything.

If you want sub-standard care for your child with hearing loss, this is where you should go. This office has ZERO sense of urgency... Rude office manager. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience.

This doctor is just awful; I strongly do not recommend Dr. Gary Coleman. He has horrible manners and shows little to no care or respect for the patient’s problems. I had a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy done by him and had to have surgery twice within the next 10 days due to arterial bleeds. Took three days for them to schedule me a follow-up appointment with him. At the appointment he there for as about 5min just to say that "my mouth looks fine" and that "i just happen to be very unlucky"

His medical ethics were non existent. Neglectful does not put into perspective the type of surgeon he was to my toddler. He cauterized my son's tongue during surgery and never told us. I didn't know about his tongue until day 4 post surgery. My son was still screaming like he was in excruciating pain every time he had something to drink or a Popsicle. I asked him the morning after surgery if he was crying because his throat still hurt (this was also after our first ER trip after the surgery because he was in so much pain they prescribed Tylenol with Codine). As he has rivers of tears running down his face he said no, it was his tongue. I use the flashlight on my phone to look in his mouth. His throat looked fine, two white scabs like he's supposed to have. Then I told him to say 'ahhhh' and at that moment, I saw it. My heart started pounding out of my chest and I got that sick feeling in my stomach, you know... Your intuition telling you something isn't right. It looked like the back of his tongue had been cauterized about 3/4 of the width. Took my son to ER, the admitted him for dehydration and pain management. Dr. Coleman and his staff did everything they could deny what happened. He put my son through HELL for 4 days. My son is only 4, he's still practically a baby, he's clueless as to what's going on. I realize mistakes happen. If they would have notified me of it & said they wanted to keep him over night for one or two nights to monitor him, I would have been ok with it. To not tell me, to make me feel I'm crazy every time I called because I still couldn't get my son to drink and eating Popsicles caused him to scream and cry in pain. He had NOTHING for 4 days. I knew he was dehydrated. I had to threaten to make a scene in the waiting room in order for my son to get a follow up appointment. They wanted me to wait till Monday. I noticed the laceration on his tongue Thursday morning at 7am, that is when the dehydration started setting in. By 12:30, after the follow up appointment, and when we got registered at the ER, my son was barley responsive. Almost lifeless. He went downhill FAST. He was admitted, THANK YOU JESUS. I am so thankful I didn't listen to the Dr. When he tried to make me feel like I was over reacting about my sons pain and lack of drink. I'm thankful I didn't listen to his office staff when they said they couldn't get him in till Monday. My son would not have made it to Monday, that's how bad he was. His medical ethics were non existent. Neglectful does not put into perspective the type of surgeon he was to my toddler. … More

Had a surgery scheduled for 3 months with this yahoo, got all my tests done, went through the whole nine yards with my employer to get the time off. The day before the scheduled date he called and cancelled. Said I needed one more test. Oops. Oh yea, the day of my surgery there was a large LPGA golf event... that his whole ENT department got invited to. Found this out after the fact. Did he go? not sure.. Would LOVE to find out if he did. I went to the Flower Hospital ENT and got the same surgery done without his test he needed. Go to the Flower Hospital ENT, they got their act together.
